Woah, cool, I live a few blocks away from Joyce. =D

For IIDX, you have to head into Richmond. For ITG, there's a Circuit Circus in Burnaby, but CHQ at Metrotown is more convienient since we have skytrain access.

Welcome to Vancouver, btw. =)

Also, Both CHQ and CC have ITG2. However, CHQ Have DMV, DM/GFV2 and DM/GF10. also Rock Fever 3 an EZ2DJ6, and the soon to coming DDR Supernova (stuck at border right now). Oh, of course, we also have PIU.

Anyway, welcome to Vancouver!

PS: I need a Japanese translator to translate the lyric for Hotaru...

More correctly now: We are getting ANOTHER shipment, so we absolutely have no idea... This is as bad as the time we are waiting for MT2, which ends up a month.

By "another" shipment, do you mean a 2nd DDRSN machine?

Hey guys!

I should be moving to Vancouver around first week of August (from Winnipeg).

I'm really looking forward to it! I'm still kind of working out things for a job and a place to stay though, so if anyone could help me out with either, that would be awesome.

Even if it was just a temporary place for a couple weeks while I get some job interviews under my belt, that would work.

I can't wait to try out the SN machine when it arrives And if I do make it there, I have a HAPPY SKY hard drive + security key + marquee that I might just bring along with me to upgrade the machine there We'll see.

Don't just give it to the guy... after all, it'll probably get some revenue for him, and you may as well get some of it for yourself. ^^

Hundreds of dollars out of my OWN pocket just to hand it over to some arcade manager? I don't think so I'm sure I'll work out something with them.

Long story short, arcade managers are always skeptical about buying a machine that they're not sure is going to do well.

I wanted to give our manager here at our local arcade a bit of a push to buy one, so I made a deal with him. I said "If I can get the insides for HAPPY SKY, will you find a cabinet to put it in?", and he said "Sure, let's give it a try."

So I got my friend in Hiroshima to pick up one for me and send it my way. We had a lot of trouble locating a 9th+ machine at a good price (and not so far away) ANNDD because I'm supposed to be moving, I would never get to play on it

While it would be nice to give my fellow Winnipeggers a chance to have a IIDX arcade cabinet, I can't afford to be giving them something that cost me quite a bit of my own money.

That means as long as everything goes as planned for my move, it's comin' with me!

It's honestly a waste to bring it to Vancouver. Even with Happy Sky the ESpot machine will not be played as much as it would if Winnipeg got a machine with Happy Sky. If you sorted out some kind of commission with Phantom or whoever you'd make more out of this than you would in Vancouver.

Even including the cost of a machine?
