Lmao i saw the breaking it. But oh well mark it's gonna be packed again today. Im gonna make sure there's extra stage today so we can unlock the songs.

yeah.....about that, I was the unfortunate one to cause that coin error. Also, I went by at around 11PM and the machine was off and the coin slot covered saying it wasn't working.

Haha yeah, some kid locked the coin slot up again! :@!! Damn machine. I hope chq can get the keys for the coin door, what a hassle.

Also, I was hoping we could establish a rule.

If there is a bunch of us guys lining up to play IIDX and we all know each other, I think we should give a freebie to someone that fails on first stage.

If they have been waiting and they fail on first stage they should be aple to play again, I think that's fair. but after that , that's their turn.

I feel bad for people that only play one stage then they have to wait the whole
line again.

I'd feel sorry for someone waiting all that time and failing out on the first song. :\ Even some good home players can get kinda messed up if they haven't played arcade IIDX much. (I'm not very good, but I remember getting a B on arcade Bitmania L7 when I had an AAA at home, so it was a pretty big difference for me.)

Due to playing in the Northwest Mahler Festival, my mind was changed about coming here...I am actually coming this next week! That means I'll be there on Friday and Saturday. It'll be super chill; hopefully the lines aren't massive. It sucks that I won't be there with VJA people though.

However, I'll probably have a good idea by either tomorrow or Tuesday. I need to plan my trip a bit better, heh. I think I am staying at the La Quinta next to e-spot, so I'll probably make a stop by there at some point. I'll also obviously be going to CHQ both days because it is just that cool.

E-spot sucks now. Both guitars on V4 are broken, DM is not the greatest, and IIDX is mediocre as always... it's just gone downhill since the glory days =.="

Looks like it is CHQ all the time both days, then. Have they fixed the lack of air-conditioning problem? That would be neat. Also, a few quick questions.

1) Are there any Tetris The Grandmaster cabinets in any of the Vancouver/Richmond arcades? Other than bemani, it is probably my favorite arcade game, and I just thought I'd ask since Vancouver seems to have pretty much everything.

2) If I wanted to avoid massive lines, what times would be good to go?

3) Is anything other than CHQ even worth checking out?

I'll also be coming back in August, since I am up in the Bellingham area around that time anyway and Vancouver is really close. That's why I'm trying to do my research early, heh.

Go right when it opens at 10am. Guaranteed there will be almost noone there for a couple hours. Friday probably gets busy around 4pm.. Saturday maybe a little earlier.
