If you're looking to play games, I'd say ONLY Chq or Espot, but yeah, apparently ESPOT sucks now?

I really really want to play that song, but I can't find it. It's NOT a military splash song.
I wonder how to play it...? Also, Lovely Storm and Coded arms.

Haha.
Don't IIDX games get an ultimate unlock code after a while?

Total Tokens: 1,003.35 Donate Tokens | Unfortunately, no. They did until e-amuse came into existance around maybe, 9th style I wanna say? From then on, the unlock code has been replaced with the e-amuse IR Beat system. After IR closes, the machine receives all the unlocks for the game. Of course, this implies that the only way to receive unlocks is through e-amuse. Kind of stupid, but not as bad as the unlocks on DM10, which us people down in Seattle have an unlimited supply of. In DM10, more than a quarter of the songlist is locked by e-amuse. Kind of sucks when you upgrade from 8th Mix and end up having about half the songs you previously had.

Meanwhile, this is not necessarily a complaint because the songlist on the Troopers machine is massive, but I was saddened to learn that Love is Dreaminess was taken out, as was Romeo and Juliet (Though that one is understandable)
Any songs you guys saw were gone?
I'm gonna check if Reincarnation is on there today 8D

I mean unless you're hacking it and it's not some official code, I dunno then.

Total Tokens: 239.39 Donate Tokens | The way I initially did it was to modify the exe so that no matter what it reads from the nvram files, it always assumes beat 3. (This was way easier for me than trying to figure out what loaded the file and where from.) Since the data partition is encrypted, you have to decrypt it, etc, etc.
However, it seems like you should be able to find some settings/nvram files from a machine that already has the unlocks.

No Time to Air video? That sounds *weird* -- everything is stored on the same hard drive, so it should be there.

Total Tokens: 5,848.55 Donate Tokens | I'm losing track of the time scales here, but if you're interested in DM it's still worth going to e-spot; their machine isn't the greatest these days but it still beats CHQ's. CHQ seems to have some kind of obscure voodoo hex which causes all their cymbal pads to always be broken. I only go there because it's way easier to get to than E-Spot for me. CHQ does seem to be definitely the more popular / successful of the two these days, though. What happened to all the rumours about E-Spot shutting down / moving to a new location?
My favourite 'sleeper' arcade is R.P.M. - the arcade in Richmond Public Market. They have most of the major games, some weird ones, and their Drummania machine is usually in good shape (although its difficulty level is jacked up somewhat). I recall one time the hi-hat pad broke while I was playing - they fixed it on the spot (soldered a sensor wire that had broken) and gave me a free credit. That's good service.

RIP.. my home arcade..
***EDIT***:
Saw Graham post up a sign at CHQ today. Apparently Drummania/Guitarfreaks V5 will be installed on Monday... OMG?!?!? We'll have to wait and see....
