Marketplace Rating: 0 | Wow $300 is like the money I've spent on jubeat and Ripples combined..
Well money is one thing but it takes me like 2hours from and to CHQ so going there everyday is a 60 hour loss / month. I think this is pretty scary considering I'm still a student =/

Played it this morning and it was excellent, no complaints whatsoever.
As for jubeat Ripples, I finished a tour of EXT finally. Some level 7 and 8 songs are monstrous, they could easily be level 9 if it were the original jubeat level system.
Level 7: PROMiSE
Generally the song is easy but the middle 1/3 was pretty hard. Requires some strategy in hand placement.
Level 8: more more more
The first 20 seconds is a killer. The right half involves slow doublet notes which isn't hard, and the left half notes sync with the music.
The problem is that the two sides are not in sync and it was really hard to get them perfect. I have one yellow bar in the first 20 seconds and I think I blew like 30k+ worth of points right there. Byebye SSS in 15 seconds lol
Level 8: Robot Honey (The second last song when sorted by version, by Aira Mitsuki)
This song has notes that draw a heart over and over. In the last 10 seconds or so the notes kind of double up in a weird way that's hard to hit.
Level 8 monstrosity: Musical Messenger
I was like WTF. Personally it was harder than any of the level 9 songs except Kiss & Ride. This would have been a 10 in the original jubeat.
The whole chart is a minefield except the very middle 15 seconds ish.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | pads don't feel much different to me. didn't have any misses on the cymbal, but then I've been playing it carefully to make sure I don't for the last while. the snare still isn't right, I can't get a decent combo in anything with fast snare rolls (like Blood and Thunder). it's playable, but not flawless. feels the same as it has for weeks.

Maybe I was just lucky or someone broke it again in the afternoon =P

Can't do much about it, the mall security said the CCTV is crap so it won't help much and I'd have to report to the police and bring them over in order to view the CCTV. Still, doing so won't really help me find my stuff. So I was like screw it.
Sorry to bother you Vivaldi Amuro, I was asking around and she (don't know her name lol) said "Did you ask Mike?" I was like who's Mike? Turned out to be you =P
Will never bring a bag with lots of stuff to metro again, scold me if you see me do so.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Oh yeah a couple hours after I posted I thought "wait.. didn't she say Mark?"
Sorry I don't remember people's names too well, it's as bad as my face recognition. There was this guy who I met every week at the religion club meeting but when he said hi on the streets I was like who the hell... (And remembering his name? Fat chance)
I was really depressed whole day but I'm in the phase of facing the reality (and trying to be cheerful). I gave up hoping and spent the rest of the money (~$3 I think) on jubeat before leaving although my scores basically dropped dead.
Maybe I'll use this opportunity to quit DS and PSP gaming and focus on PS3 and xbo... I mean studying, of course *ahem*.
It's my fault anyway, should have paid more attention to the bag. One lesson learned and paid the price. Will move on... But I hope karma bites the thief's ass =P
Bus rides will totally suck, no DS, no PSP, no mp3 player...

i've worried about that happening in the past (i sometimes have pretty valuable stuff with me at chq) but it never did, luckily...guess I should be careful in future.
you should report it to the police, though. yes, there's not a huge chance they'll catch the guy, but two points:
a) there's still a bigger chance of them catching him than if you DON'T report it
b) it was likely not a one-time thing, and if the guy KEEPS stealing stuff he's going to get caught at some point - so if you report your incident and give a good description of your stuff to the cops, you might get lucky and they catch him for something else before he gets around to selling it
still not a big chance, but yeah, it's better than NO chance. so i'd say do it. Did you get a look at the guy?

As for reporting to the police, do I go to the police station to do that?
Well the Metro security's tone was "If you REALLY want to report go ahead but I wouldn't bother if I were you" kind of. So I didn't report it yesterday.
I'll report it for the sake of preventive measure next time I go to Burnaby.

probably take a list of the stuff that was in the bag, any pictures / receipts you have, anything like that.

Even though I rarely go to Metro these days, I will make sure not to bring anything valuable with me when I go there in the future.
