Thanks people. I stayed home for a full week now. I even stayed away from a jubeat forum that I frequent, but nor CHQ or jubeat is to blame. I think I'm getting over the trauma.

I may try CHQ next week. I wanted to go today but 2 hours on bus and SkyTrain without handheld gaming devices nor mp3/media player put me off. I'm going there if I find a means to kill time =)

deathfisaro: try reading a book. Not being sarcastic, I read all the time on transit. It's cheap, too. Free if you use the library

Went to CHQ today (my mom sent me her old mp3 player =))
Was playing jubeat, a coin got jammed. Called a tall fella with glasses, he took out a Swiss knife and shoved the coin in. Played that credit, then another jam.

Called him again and he said "Turn it off, go play something else." He unplugged the jubeat machine and gave me a loonie back.

I just don't get it, does he think his 10 seconds is worth more than all the money I was planning to spend today?
Next time I'm brining my own Swiss knife, I'll shove it in myself.
It's not my fault the coin gets jammed, I'm using the loonies that came out from CHQ's coin changer machine so it's 100% CHQ's responsibility to fix it and the staff value their free time over the store's revenue and customer's satisfaction.

I was planning to play Drummania and Taiko afterwards but I just came back home after he ruined my mood.

That's Graham. He has no personality and is generally rude to 90% of the people he meets. They are not his machines, he just rents out the space, so he could personally care less if they work or not half the time. Your best bet is to tell one of the young guys at the counter about it and they will let the techs know to fix it.

Ohh thanks I'll try that (after I try pushing it down with my own swiss knife)
There was only a girl and him working, I told her that a coin got jammed and she referred me to him so that didn't work out very well =P

perhaps we should just ask the owner of jubeat to place it in E-Spot...
as a result, E-spot will have most of the MGs and ppl will no longer go to CHQ
sounds good unn? :P

Actually I would prefer jubeat in e-spot too.
Just too many people stare at me while playing, be it inside the arcade or through the window.
I sometimes get like 7+ people watching me play, which isn't normal. Bothers me a lot.

The jubeat machine is now where Taiko used to be. Usually group of people stare from outside the window and can't do much about it.

All the machines are broken, don't bother.
