I'm only really here for a robotics tournament on Saturday! I'm just coming up a day early to play some music games with you guys. :P
Don't worry, I'll come up again as well in February for another tournament.

Big news!
Vancouver, BC: E-Spot.
DJ Troopers is gone, Distorted is still there...BUT....E-Spot now has Empress!!
I just went there today - the sad thing was, the machine was off so I didn't get to play. Maybe they're still installing it? I asked the guy at the counter, but he didn't know anything about. I don't know if they just upgraded their DJT Machine, or if this is a totally new machine (and their old DJT is BACK at CHQ in Metrotown).
Anyway, something to keep an eye out for.
It's also worth noting that their Pop'n Adventure machine wasn't quite taking my dollars...

??? Hello Lentic.
I purchased the Empress upgrade for E-spot 2 months ago and installed it myself.. It was working great but now the machine is showing a USB/IO error and we cant figure out how to fix it. I was at e-spot last night and Popn was taking my dollars.. the coin slot is really finnicky, sometimes you just have to try a different one.

Its the same machine that was at CHQ but the owner of Espot didnt get along with Graham so he took the machine out. I`ve actually got a lead on how to fix it, and im going to Espot tonight with high hopes. I`ll let you know how it turns out.
PS; Adam, since nobody else reads here but you , I`ll let you in on a big secret.. The drums at Parker Place are fixed, I made friends with the tech their and persistently bugged him until he fixed the bass pedal. I dont hesistate to say its the best kit in Vancouver now, and Its where Ive been FCing most of my 70`s and 60`s , good luck!

Ooh, nice one checky, thanks. I'll pop by and check it out. Honestly though I don't have any problems with the CHQ kit at the moment, I'm used to it, and it's closest to me, so I'll probably still go there a lot. | |

I could see they must be 60s, 80s or 125s (anything higher looks a bit different). But they're still nice  I used to have SR-80s, very good phones. The HF-1s are awesome though. Had 'em for three years now and never felt like changing. I quite like the bowl pads to be honest, not found any others to be better. I guess a lot of people find them uncomfortable though. | |

E-spot sent the bemani PC back to Hong Kong for fixing... big waste of time if you ask me. If they are actually able to fix it, we will have it back in a couple of weeks.. E-spot is so cheap I think they shipped the thing via Tugboat...
