Supernova isnt completely horrible. Keep in mind it wasnt really targeted at us though.

Chris didn't get supernova because there is no point in him getting it. Extreme still makes a lot of money. So, why would he want to spend an assload of money to get a new game that a) will probably not make a significant amount more than what is already in and b) has generated no interest by the arcade dwellers.

If it wasn't targeted at us, then why would WE want it in our arcade?!

Look at it from an arcade owners perspective and not just "I WANT THIS WAA WAA WAA" perspective.

If supernova didn't have syncing issues even when patched and didn't have arrows that hide in the background videos, maybe it would be worth upgrading. This combined with the fact that SuperNOVA is starting to outnumber Extreme in places worth playing, an Extreme with decent pads is becoming even more desireable.

At the random meetup a few weeks ago, some players from Staten Island ran up and hugged the Extreme machine because they hadn't seen one in so long.

Granted, I'd only really share that sentiment about a 4th+ or a 5th mix, but the point stands.

Its not your arcade. Be very clear on this. Its Chris Cottys Arcade. and it still sucks because its an undermaintained place of nerd worship of what is likely the worst targeted dancing game in the history of games.
