You and me both actually. If I play, I play in Manhattan.
Same here cept I live in the bronx....They closed the 2 god awful arcades (good and bad thing) so now i go to Chinatown to play DDR ........besides my bedroom where i have my comp and PS2 (MAX2 , Extreme , and SuperNOVA)
Btw, if you think LI's machines are half-assed... lolz, I say. The machines down there (FYE, TCF, Sunrise) are beautiful compared to what Albany has at Crossgates.

Ya know my NYC Bemani brethren, we do have IIDX DistorteD and Pop'n Music 14 Fever in an arcade in Queens called Peter Pan Games, should be on the machine locations page. Don't make the machines lonely , you know you wanna gets your Bemani fix stat. I'm usually there on Saturday afternoons, look for a dark haired buzz cut guy that whores out Car of your Dreams .
Long Islander here. Disappointment doesn't even come close to what I felt when I learned that the Sports Plus in Lake Grove was closed. Are there any places left on Long Island (excluding NYC) that have a decent DDR or ITG 2 machine?
I'm from Levittown, on Long Island. My hang-out spot is at the Tri County Flee Market. Downstairs they have a DDR Extreme machine that can switch to StepMania (Extreme theme) with a push of the button on the side, and an ITG2 R23 machine. I go there once every week (on my day off).
I'll be in New York NEXT Saturday for the Banksey art Gallery. I'm staying at a buddies house on Long Island, so maybe a couple of you guys want to meet up and play some games?
