Day 1 [August 18]:
ITG 2 $10
Top 32 seed. Double elimination will be used in one 32 man bracket. Higher seed picks first song and side, lower seed picks second song. Third song is picked prior to the tournament for each round. Percentage attack. Best 2 out of 3 songs. NO DISQUALIFYING MODS ALLOWED. All other mods are allowed (even using accel/deccel on vertex is allowed). First round limit is 10. You can only choose a song once throughout the tournament. If you fail your song, you lose the round, regardless of how well the other player did on your song. By round 4, there will be no limit, but you can only choose songs on expert. 3rd song will be chosen by chance [ sorry Jimbo

For the first time ever, Champions of the coast will see freestyle of any type. You can freestyle any game that has a tournament held on it. This includes:
ITG2
DDR Ex
PIU Pro
Popn Music
IIDX
You will do one song that you want to, and then one song that I pick and I am playing devil's advocate here so be nice to me. I will most likely choose a song from the same game you are playing. You will be judged by your peers and they will decide who wins. Prizes are just like the others 60/30/10. Any questions, fire away.
Day 2 [August 19]:
IIDX GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD $10
-Scoring will be by EX score per song (best out of 3).
-Bracket is double elimination.
-Random seeding unless there are more than 16 entrants, in which case there will be a one song qualifier (song will be a 6 star song on 7-key, actual song will be decided on the day of the tournament; random not allowed for qualifier)
-Higher seed chooses first or second song, 3rd song is randomly selected from a predetermined favorites folder. If both players can't agree on a difficulty for the 3rd song, the tournament director selects the difficulty for the 3rd song.
-5 key, autoscratch, Random+, S-random+ and Mirror+ are not allowed, Random/Mirror/S-ran/"Samurai" S-ran are allowed
-Pass/fail has no bearing on scoring, but if you choose to use hard mode and fail, any Flashing Greats/Greats after the bar drops to zero WILL NOT be counted.
-Prizes:
1st - 60% cash pot
2nd - 30% cash pot

Awesome helmets from last year will be there again! Old champions of the coast will be asked to wear the helmets to the tournament if they wish.
