Marketplace Rating: 0 | I haven't been to freehold in about 3 months... for good reason too :/
Also the beatmania at seaside is a 4th mix, and I couldn't figure out how to put on speed mods, and yes i tried the effector button that did nothing.
I should check out freehold again some time to see if they're doing anything there. Just as long as I don't have to be in another ass awful tournament.

I miss Jersey too. I just moved to PA. If you're not from there your whole life, you'll think it's boring and it sucks. Everything is like, right there in Jersey.

I clicked on this thread and was reading it, thinking it was the Otakon thread. Needless to say, I was completely lost. Then I saw that post.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I visited the Freehold Mall today, and I have to fix one of my comments above. The DanceManiax machine is still there. However, the arcade really has nothing else. The GameWorld's mall location attracts lots of little kids and bored teenagers, which unfortunately probably wouldn't be a prime audience for something like a IIDX machine. Well, maybe the bored teenagers ("Look at me, I'm a DJ!"). That, and the arcade probably isn't making enough money to justify such an addition.
Most American arcades are useless to me now as I'm in a bit of a rhythm-game obsession phase. That, and Time Crisis gets old fast.

Burlington Mall used to have a DDR machine but now they have a TechnoMotion or whatever the hell it's called. Last time I played on it the pads we're very responsive, and of course it's ridiculously easy so for $1.00 you get to play this Offspring song three times.
Six Flags used to have an old DDR mix as well, and then they replaced it with a Pump It Up machine which seemed to work okay last time I was there, but that was a year or so ago so it might not work so well, or even be there anymore. The staff is pretty cool there, though. One time I was playing for a crowd and ran out of money so they gave me free tokens to play more.
The Regal movie theater next to the Burlington Mall had one for what seemed to be a VERY brief period of time and then they got rid of it and didn't replace it with anything.
The Vans skate park in the Moorestown Mall used to have two DDR Extreme machines (and only one fully functional pad on each) and then the whole skate park closed so no more DDR there.
It's getting a little ridiculous how there's NOTHING in South Jersey at ALL anymore. I heard about the IIDX machine at Seaside, but after the previously posted comments about it, I won't be rushing over there to play it anytime soon. What's this FnG, and where is it? Does it have anything other than Drummania? (Not that I wouldn't mind some Drummania, just curious)

Marketplace Rating: 0 | The machine at Seaside is a Beatstage 4th Mix, the Korean version of Beatmania I (not IIDX). Of course this has zero significance because the Korean and Japanese versions are exactly the same. It's in crap-tastic condition aside from the responsiveness of the keys. Crappy screen, really dirty, volume is really low. Sad.
FnG is here:: http://www.ddrfreak.com/locations/lo...locationID=719
I play at the Rockaway mall because it's the ONLY place close to me.
They had Guitar Freaks, it's gone.
The fucking had Dance Manaix 2nd mix which was awesome. Gone in 2 weeks....
The still have Percussion Freaks 3rd Mix..
and a DDR Extreme that was supposed to upgraded to SuperNOVA in October.
Never happened and probably never will.
