The funplex is actually two arcades in NJ, theyre owned by the same guy and they both have an EXTREMELY similar lineup of games (read: Mount Laurel has more room and has more games, but has EVERY game that East Hanover has.)

East Hanover has Supernova -> Mount Laurel has Supernova

Trust me on East Hanover has Supernova, the entire high score list is "KATZE88"

Yeah I know, I haven't looked on there in a while because the last time I did, all of the machines were either gone or in shit condition.

I Rarely update the ones near me because nobody plays near me, and as a result, they never get confirmed before they change again.

That's true. Sometimes I just ask my friends to confirm it for me because no one who goes online, goes to the arcade here (well very few).

I live 10 minutes away from your college, Evi. in Moorestown. But I'm at school in New Brunswick so I'm still not around.

Yeah, they get rid of a lot of cool games there. Like Initial D 3rd Stage. That was gone in under 2 weeks. I fucking enjoyed that game.....

I went to the funplex last friday night and the friday night before that, and it was pretty cool. There was one machine, took $1.25 for 4 songs, and the left button on the 1p pad wasn't as sensitive as the others. The first time I went there, there was one other DDR player there besides me, and he was pretty good. The Friday after that, there was a whole bunch of people there so the wait times were long.

One of the people I met told me there was a Supernova machine at a place called Laurel Lanes that is in perfect condition and only costs 50 cents for 4 songs. He said there's a lot of people there on Friday nights though. Maybe I'll check it out sometime. Does anyone know where Laurel Lanes is, or ever been there?

Well I went back to the Funplex tonight, and met some pretty cool people there. I was off to a really rough start after tripping at the end of Sakura, and then I saw Holic, and remembered how fun it on doubles mode, so I put in $2.50 and started up doubles, only to realize that you can't play Holic as your first song. So I ended up playing era instead, and somehow failing (and simultaneously making a fool out of myself), thus completely wasting $2.50 and making everyone there think I suck. I redeemed myself later by owning some 9's and 10's, though.

Despite the fact that it's really fucking expensive, I think the Funplex is a good location overall. It draws some cool people in, but not so much to make it too crowded (I hate long wait times). I would definitely recommend playing on the 2P side, though, because the 1P side is not as sensitive, making it hard for lighter people like me to hold freezes. The popularity of the machine seems to be taking its toll on the machine's quality, but hopefully the owners will notice this and provide the necessary upkeep.

You mean the arcade, or the whole thing? Outside the arcade (indoors) they have Go-Karts, Laser Tag, and this thing where you run around and shoot foam balls at people. In the arcade, they have your typical "get tickets" games for kids, like 5 different racing games, that skateboard game, House of the Dead 2-4, Time Crisis 3-4, a hunting game, a police training game, Beach Head, those basketball machines, air hockey, a rollercoaster simulator, skeeball, and a bunch of other shooters of which nobody's probably ever heard.

If you want, next time I go, I'll write down the names of everything.
