Omg Delaware, Help

Ok, so there's a job position that has been tossed at me, but the training (for some 3 months) will be in Delaware. Can anybody tell me about the great state, what the cities are like, what is there to do, what is the weather like, etc?

Oh holy shit. I figured there wouldnt be one considering NJ's Newark.

Well I can at least tell you that its not NJ's Vile set of under construction roads.

Newark's the home of the University of Delaware (my alma matter). I don't know what the scene is like anymore there since I've been gone for about 2 years now. There used to be DDR machines in local theaters, a DDR club on campus, DDR & Pump It Up at a Kahunaville in Wilmington, though I don't know how much is left.
If you travel a distance, Philly, PA and 8 on the Break in NJ were day trips. Same with most of the beaches in DE.

Also, no sales tax rocks. You order shit off a $.99 value menu, and you get a penny back!

EDIT: Oh yeah, and campus life at UD was pretty lively. Go up and down Main Street at night and you're sure to find entertainment and/or good restraunts.
