I'd offer to take up the task of running a tourney if Sherl0k isn't, but my experience with any sort of gaming tourney is limited to "I lost in the quarterfinals in a mostly-impromptu IIDX tourney one time" so I think my lack of experience would be a detriment. I doubt I'd be entering, 'cause I'm not good enough to get anywhere in one where there's serious competition.

I have similar tournament experience, so that's why I'm not offering to run it.

From what I've been told, Schlagwerk is doing a Pop'n tourney instead of a IIDX one. You'll have to ask him though, I don't really know how to run tournies for either.

I know how to run both, and have lots of experience with IIDX and two tournaments (one under my belt) for pop'n. I was trying to ask Schlagwerk, but he hasn't responded yet.

I've never seen a Pump machine anywhere in Otakon or even in the Convention Center area.

Well the tournaments were made next to final late last night and here's the word for the music games (I think all signups start an hour before the tournament):

IIDX - friday @ 6pm (IIDX RED CS)
Pop'n - saturday @ noon (Iroha CS)
DDR(s) - saturday @ 6pm (Standard division: Extreme AC, Maniac division: 5th Mix AC)

spots'll be limited

@Sherl0k: I was saying I wanted to drop one of the IIDX tourneys I was thinking of doing for a Pop'n. Originally there were gonna be 2 divisions of IIDX, now there's just 1. Oh, and you'll be helping me with crowd management for all of these. ;P

I am signing up for IIDX and pop'n, and probably DDR Maniac since I haven't played on an AC cabinet (other than shitternova) for several years.
