I'll probably go for all three and get creamed in everything but Pop'n, though it'll still be hells loads of fun.

BTW to everyone going, if you haven't already, REGISTER. Apparently registration at the door is significantly less than likely.

Last I heard, Otakon had over half its cap in pre-reg already... and people tend to be lazy, so more will probably come in before the con.

I though Otakon held some at-door registrations despite... but I haven't been to a meeting in over a year. Stupid moving to New York.

I remember last year my brother and his friends were lucky to get into the door registration, but it was crazy, cause then saturday came..and I saw people who were willing to do anything for the otakon ticket. Its crazy, but atleast this year they increased the amount of people that can come.

I think they do have door registration, but from what I've been told the passes tend to go rather fast. I don't get up that early.

I really don't see the point in paying fifty for registration when I'm not going to do anything but drink and sleep.

but anyways maybe they'll sell anime and whatnot there.

I really don't have a clue about this whole deal I was kinda dragged in at the last minute.

Going back to the Pump machine question, is there one within driving distance? I have no idea if I'll even want to go play while at the con, but I know I did get bored at AWA sometimes, mostly because Mint kept wanting to go watch hentai or something in the theater rooms and I didn't feel like sitting in a crowded room with a bunch of guys watching porn. I get the impression there'll be a lot more to do at Otakon, but I used to be in the Boy Scouts, so I tend to over-plan for contingencies. 'Sides, it's fun to go make a fool out of yourself for an audience. It's just something I was curious about, really; it's not like I'm going to have less fun if there isn't one (there's a pretty good chance I won't even play Pump if there is one nearby).

Also please be able to afford it Ichi :<

Don't worry Jon, last year we did a bunch of fun shit besides animu and bemanis. Such as Castlevania Speed Runs, Drinking some weird shit at 7-11 and watching this 60 year old guy take pictures of this 14 year old cosplayer :X

Oh wow. A tournament for all 3?(Popn, DDR, IIDX) AND the DDR tournament doesn't start until 6?(Based on the past 2 otakons, it usually starts 10am Saturday)

IT IS GOOD NEWS

And I hope random ain't allowed on IIDX!(The mod, not the person. )
