Default Philadelphia, anyone? Temple U?

Temple University, in Northern Philadelphia, is getting its DDR machine back pretty soon. I have been told that in October or so, they will upgrade to Supernova, and I bet they'll leave it at $1/3 songs. At least, I hope so.

Does ANYONE in the Philadelphia area still play DDR? Where do you go? The last arcade left in the city just shut down...

I just play at work in Freemansburg. SMcab, .75 for 3 songs.

...well that's the price for everyone who isn't me. :3

What about University Pinball on UPenn's campus? I remember playing an Exceed 2 machine there about a year and a half ago. Is that arcade just gone?

I do remember hearing about that University Pinball thing, but I think something happened to it...and I don't exactly chill on the UPenn campus, but I suppose I could start if they have rhythm gaming...

Freemansburg, don't know too much about it. Do you know if I can get there from SEPTA's regional rail? I'm bound by public transportation and low funds.

Temple has gotten the DDR cabinet back, it's an old one, with a bunch of problems (right side sticks, bad screen), but it's got a lot of edits, most of which are terrible. However, my experience with edits states that I should be happy with what I have, because they're far and few between.

We're upgrading to Supernova in October - I hope it's a new cabinet.

Freemansburg's up by Bethlehem. Not sure if public transport will get you there, and it probably wouldn't be overly inexpensive. :P

While it's not exactly bemani, I have heard numerous rumors of University Pinball contemplating the purchase of an ITG3 dedicab. Personally with the way supernova turned out I am really excited to see if this is true or not. On the 20th I'm moving into Drexel University and University Pinball is practicaly on campus. Hurray for philly getting a machine that's not Temple!!

Neshaminy Mall's fairly close to Philly and I play there once in a while.

There's also a Supernova about five minutes from the mall at a bowling alley.

the supernova machine at the brunswick zone bowling alley was removed due to technical problems with the machine. Instead, they replaced the ddr supernova machine with a pump it up nx machine, and I hate, hate, hate, hate pump it up!

i did not know when this happened, but the ddr supernova machine is gone

too bad i only got to play it once.

Hmm, Temple now has a DDR SuperNova machine? Hell... it was between Temple and Penn State Abington (because it's like, 5 minutes from my house XD), I may just attend Temple next year :3
