VCU now has a DanceManiax. We're looking to get it upgraded to 2nd Mix J-Paradise.

anybody play at funland now? with our WORKING supernova and ITG2 dedicab. probably the best setup in the state now only problem is that the community is DEAD.

I go to Funland to play... when i do go to play.
Its an hour away, but its still the closest thing to me. I live in the middle of Westmoreland(aka the middle of nowhere). I don't even know anybody in this county that plays DDR...or any music games at all. Its hard to be motivated to get better when theres no competition around here.

So I had about a billion tokens in the bank well before 7.0 went live, and after about a year and a half of not coming on here, I thought I would be nice and donate all of them on my birthday to some poor sap who has the unfortunate fate of living in Charlottesville. Sadly, it appears Eddie hates me and nuked them. Sorry to compound your misery further.

Liberty Lanes in Stafford (near the Wal-Mart, just off 95) finally has a DDR machine. It's a MAX2, but it's really not worth the time, and is definitely a letdown given that it's been two years since people first asked for a DDR machine.

Problems:

- Pads are screwed up. All the arrows have sensor issues, and you have to step very hard for them to register.
- Machine is not unlocked.
- Screen has a slight alignment problem.
- It costs $1.50. For three songs. Yes, $1.50.

You're better off going to Central Park Fun Land or, if you have the gas money, Springfield Mall or VCC, than stopping here, unless they lower the price/get the machine fixed/get a newer machine.

anyone know of any DDR/ITG/PIU machines near here. The closest I've got is a superNOVA (@Ultrazone) about 45 minutes away

WE (and I say we cause I'm in that company) had an opprotunity to get a DanceFreaks for cheap, and then upgrade to DanceManiaX j-append 2nd (which never happene, a few people dropped the ball on getting it to us.

Pop'n Music, as I looked up would have been at LEAST 10 times more expensive, and at the time we did not have the money to go get a POPN.

At teh same time, VCU has not shown us significant gains to persuade my boss to purchase a popn machine, (i think POPN would do amazing, personally)

There has been talks of pulling out of VCU, so go play and support the arcade. Maybe then we can move forward on the arcade.

On a small side note, I was thinking on buying the BMIII machine if this pull out occurs. But, the business decision after that may be impossible. Bringing a Bemani arcade to the mid atlantic area is not easy.

I'm hearing rumors that Greenbrier Mall in Chesapeake has a brand-new Supernova machine. Can anyone confirm?

ITG2, Beatmania III the Final, DanceFreaks, and the rest of the VCU arcade are being removed at the end of may. I will update you all of the location these go to after
