Default AFC Universal Mall, Warren, MI

The thread for American Fun Center in Universal Mall, located in Warren, Michigan.

I went there once. They have DDR SuperNOVA, ITG 2 and I believe Beatmania.
I don't know much about what's going on with the mall. I heard its just renovations.

Drop by a message when given the chance

The ITG2 is still there, the beatmania iidx was sold, and last time I went there (a little over a week) the Supernova machine was gone (most likely to fix some issues with the pad). There is also a crackin' DJ machine.

Thank you shadowlord for the valuable information.

I went last Sunday and the pads are as good as I remember them. I haven't been there in a while.
I am way out of practice and I only played 9's and 10's. I will get better soon enough, though. Then we all can really plan out some meet-ups there.

I love that crackin dj machine, even though its beat to hell and you cant hear it for shit.

I wonder how much they want for it, and how it is too find a CDJ2 upgrade kit.

News: They got the DDR 8th Mix back. Don't play on it if you're serious, because the pads are off and your timing gets messed up. Just put the songs from DDR on your flash drive and play them on the [much better] ITG pads.

The extreme is perfectly fine except for some very small distortion on the 2P side. I've gotten no pad crap at all, so what problems are you talking about?

I don't know, I got a huge amount of greats on one song. But my timing was off anyway

I was wondering, does anyone play ITG here anymore? I was wondering because maybe we could get the cabinet from there down here to Melvindale. In my opinion it is much better at AFC Oakland. I wanted to know all of your thoughts on this so I won't make a selfish decision.

No good players play ITG there anymore, but still people who aren't good enough to care about the difference in the pads between Oakland and Warren go there.

I was over at Universal on Tuesday and I forgot to bring water so I was really thirsty. At Oakland, the water fountain is like, right there. Just another benefit. So, it is okay if the machine gets moved?
