FFC needs a new damn screen. That CRT non-widescreen 25" is a frickin' atrocity, it's like playing HS at home.

It's not TERRIBLE, but it's no where near good. The gold monitor was fucking sick, it's hard to play at FFC after that. But still the projection screen we used to have was pretty shitty. Especially when the bulb just about burnt out and you couldn't see half the notes.

That is true. They do sell LCD or plasma monitors, and some that actually have very little lag for IIDX; FFC should look into that, dammit =P

Also, did they ever fix DM? Last I was there several months ago, DM7 was balls (I think I broke a stick on it) and DM 10 was meh.

And I'd much rather have a Chicago Bemanistyle meet NOT in any of those shi++y places listed above. I'd rather stick with Nickel City. May not have the newest games, but at least they also have a HUGE @$$ TV that the owner usually lets us use...played a great many games of IIDX, Pop 'n, and some GFdm on there.

FFC won't be buying another monitor until this one breaks; they just don't care about spending "unneccessary" money on the bemani anymore.

DM7 is apparently sold I guess (pending confirmation), DM 10th is not out on the floor right now because they took it back for repairs and are awaiting new parts.

he installed it at SVGL after you told me FFC wasn't interested. he has another but needs a security plug, but if he can get his hands on another it's up for sale again.

Modarius: I remember playing on that IIDX projection when it was 8th Style, it was crappy, but I thought they replaced that bulb and cleaned out the mirrors and stuff on it?

Omega: Then, uh, maybe you should make it location-specfic instead of throwing out locations that no one in your area would make it to.

Also to anyone from Illinois or people in general: if people would be interested in driving, it wouldn't be THAT expensive gas-wise to roadtrip down here. Myself, Modarius, and Evan drove up for GOLD and that was only around $30 gas each round-trip. I can host between 10-20 people if some people don't mind sleeping on the floor (i.e. sleeping bags/pillows/blankets/etc.).
