Haha a few of us are trying to find KOF players to play with actually. We're having a KOF XI tournament at ACen ( animecentral 2007-Tenth Anniversary) in May.
There are players, but most of the ones I find are hardcore Mexicans that live in the Little Mexico area, and are just jerks.

I've been at the location test every day and there have been a lot more people there who weren't there on the first day. There were a lot of people there today, probably the most since the first day. It was a pretty long wait, I just played one game and left.
ACen sounds like fun. I'll at least go for the video games, especially KOF and whatever Bemani is there. And I'll probably check out the other stuff too, although I haven't seen that much anime, so chances are I'll be lost if I get into a conversation outside the game room.

I'll be at ACEN this year, but I wouldn't be at the game room that much this time. I kind of want to see some of the events rather than staying in the gaming for 10 hours straight playing IIDX, drummania, and ITG on Saturday, missing the Masquerade, AMVs, J-Rock Concert, and other cool events. Hopefully I can join in the beatmania IIDX competition for ACEN.
