Cool beans. If anyone hears of a DDR Supernova machine coming to South Central Wisconsin, in the Dane County area, please PM me! Thanks for the help,

Screw that, post it here, I'd like to know too.

From what I gather, odds are very low.

Speaking of which and a bit off topic, I've never seen an old GF/DM V kit anywhere. How are upgrades done to GF/DMV2? Are they just an upgrade DVD that installs to the HDD in the new hardware? Do you think they'll switch IIDX and PNM to the same hardware since it seems to be more secure?

From what I gather, there hasn't been a DDR machine change in the Wisconsin area in a long time, so I bet it is going to be a while before we get a DDR Supernova machine, lol.

Not necessarily. Hardware upgrades are costly, and the more hardware upgrades come out, the less likely Konami will sell kits. Unless Konami had a real good reason to switch hardware, most likely not.

Chances are, they're probably getting ready for a new hardware kit though for IIDX. Wouldn't put it past them anyhow.

I do believe GFdm V2 are DVD upgrades, no HDD, but don't quote me on that.

I'm probably going to Cedar Point next Friday (30th), so I'll see if there is a Supernova machine by then.

If you guys are talking about Craig's Cruisers already having a DDRSN, I highly doubt it considering that as far as I know they still have their Prex 3 machine and on DDRfreak just posted that they will update the location when they actually receive it. I got information from Betson/Konami that the Dedicated Cabinets were pushed back to ship in July sometime now. We currently have several DDRSN Dedicab's on order. The 2 places that I have been told for sure will be getting them are Frankenmuth, Michigan - Bavariann Inn Lodge and the other place that is also supposedly for sure getting one is AFC Westland in Westland, Michigan. I only have ties to the Frankenmuth location so the Westland info has been given to me from the Frankenmuth source. If I am wrong on that, I'm sorry. But based on what I have been told Westland will also be receiving one. I would also be safe to assume that AFC Oakland in Troy Michigan will be receiving a Dedicab also since that is their home arcade and for the fact that they show that arcade off to anyone who is looking to invest in Alpha and/or Revenue Share with them.

I hope this clears things up.

So does that mean the DVD overwrites the previous version if THIS is true?

I wonder if we, Naperville, will ever get ours. You know how our Brunswick Zone likes to claim we're getting stuff and then never get it.

I'm not sure.

On one hand, everybody bugged them to get it before the beta.

Then after the beta we all hated it and told them to keep Extreme.

I'd rather keep Extreme, myself. Losing all of the Dancemania licenses is not worth the new crap.
