BIG update today. Things added into the original post include:
-Tentative schedule of events
-CONFIRMED dates (same as prior)
-Updated prize rules
-Added registration fee
-Updated attendance list
-Added tournament: SSBM Teams
-List of accomodations FFC is providing
-Updated food/beverages (slightly)
-Formatting on attendance list (everyone is now listed by Name (Forum/Location))

In particular, I want feedback on one item we're considering:

At 7 PM or so on Saturday night, we would like to take a break from gaming to book a restaurant and eat and socialize with everyone. We can either reserve a nice but affordable restaurant (near $10-$20 for a good meal; Kobe Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Sushi Japan, etc.) or a diner (Denny's, IHOP, Village Inn, Perkins). Since obviously this is for you, please let me know which option you'd prefer or if you have interest in the idea.

Hope to see you guys here soon! 2 more months!

Cross-posted from AIJ.

I vote for a diner (doesn't matter which). Less formal and easier to chill.

FFC has lazer tag? we should have a tournament in there too, I thought it would be kind of fun.

We'll likely be getting a discount on laser tag throughout the weekend. Details TBA. :]

I think that Denny's is the official sponsor of hungry bored Bemani enthusiasts, so I vote that or Village Inn. :P

EDIT: Now that I read it over more thoroughly, I see that we don't have a list of other notable games/attractions that FFC has.

Prices reflect regular rates without any discounts or tax (no tax on token games, obviously)-

Big Attractions:

Mini-Golf - 9 holes, $2.50 a game.
Lazertag - 10 minute games, medium-sized arena with mostly Dancemania tunes playing, I think. $5 a person.
Spaceball - Hard to explain this one... Trampoline volleyball through tubes..? $7 for 15 minutes.
Jumpshot - One-on-one trampoline basketball game. Same cost as Spaceball.
Defender Dome - Secret new attraction, not sure on price yet because we haven't opened it for customers yet. Weird dodgeball game with goals kinda like soccer. Probably fun, but I haven't tried it.
Cyber Cafe - Mostly defunct, the cyber cafe is our little network of PC games.
Billiards ('cause people get confused when we call it pool, apparently) - $6 an hour.
Bounce House - Our second secret attraction. lol Haven't told anyone about this one until now. No idea on price.

Fighting games:

Guilty Gear XX` Accent Core - $.50 a game.
Guilty Gear XX/ Slash - $.25 a game.
SF3 3rd Strike - $.25 a game.
DOA2 - $.25 a game.
Tekken 5 - Not sure on price, I think $.25 a game.
We have a few others, but I can never remember them. CvsSNK is one, but I don't know what version.

Racing games:

Initial D Arcade Stage Ver. 3 - $.75 a game. Two-player linked.
Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 2 - $1.00 a game. Two-player linked.
Hydro Thunder - Dunno on price, but probably $.50. Two-player linked.
Arctic Thunder - Same as HT. Two-player linked.
NASCAR - $.75 a game. Four-player linked.
Mario Kart - $.75 a game. Four-player linked.

Shooting games:

Maximum Force - $.25 a game.
Area 51 - $.25 a game.
Target: Terror - Forgot price.
Time Crisis 2 - $.50 a game, I think.
Time Crisis 3 - $.75 a game.
Crisis Zone - Broken for now, but might be back up by August.
Silent Scope - Forgot price.
Ninja Assault - Usually broken. $.25 a game.

Classic games (all $.25 a game):

Ms. Pac-Man
Centipede
Tempest
Donkey Kong
Joust
Missile Command
Q-Bert

Other noteworthy games:

Crazy Taxi - $.25 a game. Hey, I like it.
Sword game with forgotten name - $.50 a game.
Punchmania (Konami game based on Fist of the North Star)- $.50 a game.

Hopefully that'll give some of you some heads up on what you can expect here. This is by far not our whole list of games, but the better portion of it, sans redemption games.

I'm coming with my Friend DDRM. We'll be there Friday night, if someone wants to hook us up with a place to crash for the weekend.

I'll check out Initial D today when I get there. Thanks for telling me about it.

It's kinda funny, really. Tons of customers come up to me and start the whole "Your game didn't work for me, I'm never coming back" spiel but when asked if they ever told anyone that the game in question wasn't working, they say no. They expect me to track them down without them giving me any heads up and fix their game for them?

Apparently I'm being paid to be some sort of psychic game attendant. Their whiny collective attitudes that I have some uncanny "game sense" is about as sensible as the notion that the doctor's office should come to them when they're sick. :P

So, in summary, I really do appreciate when people tell me kindly that something isn't working rather than not saying anything about it at all.

Spork!, did you mean THIS Friday..?
