I think that the $5 registration fee isn't asking a lot from anyone, even if a person does not plan on taking part in a tournament. Odds are, if you're going to make it all the way to FFC, $5 isn't going to make a whole lot of a difference to you. To us, however, that money means a lot towards upgrading to a great new mix of Drummania.
In part, I'd like to ask anyone who is going to come to try to pay the registration fee regardless of whether or not you will participate in the tournaments. It's going for a good cause for the Bemani community here. Anyone who knows for sure that they can do the registration fee should contact myself or Brazoliange so that we can confirm it with the owners that the money WILL be coming in, so that perhaps we can order the kit earlier than later.
Another way you can help is to look at the several Bemani items we have up for sale from the FFC. We cleaned out the upstairs storage and found a lot of old Bemani arcade stuffs, such as marquees, game discs, hard drives, cartridges, and weirder things such as a BeForU audition poster from DDRMAX and e-Amuse card readers from a IIDX machine. Any money made from the sales of these things goes directly into the V3 fund, so if you've had a notion to buy things like that before, here's your chance to score the swag AND help the Bemani community.
Things for sale are listed in the Marketplace, so please check it out. | I should ask Keith if he can post this on the front page, and information about the meet-up, so we can get more atendees. Unless someone else wants to do it, I would just use qoutes from the forum, but hey, it will help FFC! | |

EDIT: How about a 14 Key IIDX tourney :3

Right now my going depends on whether or not K0LD can come (sounds likely), and whether or not I can manage to find K0LD so we can traverse the great midwest together.

What I'm considering at the moment really seriously as probabilities to be added sometime within a week or two:
DrumMania V3 AC
GF CS (V/V2/MPS/MPG) (with 2 ASCs)
possibly GH2
DDR 5th Mix or Extreme S4R (to replace the endurance tournament most likely)
Halo 2 or Gears of War
possibly IIDX CS
Also: If anyone has a Pop'n minicon or ASC they'd be willing to bring for use with our home version setups, please let me know ASAP.

Total Tokens: 111.38 Donate Tokens | I'd go for a guitar hero tournament (i'd offer up my 360)
umkc ddr club's working on getting funds to come ^^, and I know that we have members who would love a freestyle competition
i'll participate in the DDR tourneys (PA and Endurance), the ITG2 FA, and possibly PIU (i haven't played NX yet...no arcades near me have it =(....)
the idea of an initial D tournament sounds fun too, although as long as the machine is on and the card readers work, i'll be happy ^_^ (i'm already stoked that you guys have guilty gear!)
also if any one was interested, i could bring the wii (wii sports and mario party 8 are the two multiplayer games i have at the moment)
as far as food goes, i'd go for the cheaper option ^^...i think it would be more laid back that way too
