Total Tokens: 695,192.96 Donate Tokens | To better concentrate our resources, I regret to announce that we will need to cancel the SSBM tournaments; we simply don't have the TVs/gamecubes/people to run it with the Brawl tournament, and the owners do not expect enough interest in it over Brawl to justify it. It is very likely to be at the next event, assuming I'm involved with the next. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Other than that, the machines are at near top condition. Hope to see you guys soon :]

Edit: Is it just me, or is every hotel nowadays run by a bunch of hindu guys?

Edit: Yah, it's midnight and I'm stir crazy. If any of you guys get up here and are throwing room parties let me know, kay? | Yeah, the 9 button got REALLY bad literally 5 minutes before I left for work. We are replacing most and/or all of the switches in Pop'n right around open tomorrow (before the tournament at the least).
P.S. phone numbers help

Total Tokens: 1,746.00 Donate Tokens | I had to leave early as both me and my friend have to work tomorrow. Just wanted to say thanks to John for inviting us out to dinner. The turnout was a bit small, but I had fun and it was a good learning experience for me. I am definitely changing my IIDX routine up a bit and I will be ordering a Dao Pop'n controller in a couple weeks. Hope to see you guys at the next event if there is one.

Total Tokens: 695,192.96 Donate Tokens | As to DDR tournament cancellation:
We had 5 people signed up after 2 hours of waiting for people to wake up and get over here from the hotel. Someone said they apparently didn't have alarm clocks? Excellent. Regardless, a majority of locals didn't show up for some reason, and a fair deal of out-of-towners didn't end up making it out.
Regardless, turnout could/should definitely have been better, but I couldn't do much about people canceling with relatively short notice (Momo, Darkmage's group, Deathrazor, a California group, and several others). I also realize that timing wasn't perfectly convenient for everyone.
I didn't get the results of the Brawl tournaments yet (had to work before Singles even wrapped up), but I'll try to post with results when I do.
Thanks to everyone who came out to do the tournaments and chill. I hope that at the least, you had a good time meeting and hanging out with people.
Special thanks to:
Tim - helping clean out the Extreme pads and entirely cleaning out the Max2 pads
Jadin - running the IIDX tournament after I left for work
Zaxiom (iirc) - running the Pump tournament
Kansas group - cleaning out the ITG2 2P side
If at all, the next event will be planned far further in advance and better-coordinated to ensure great turnout and overall quality. Most likely it will (tentatively) be scheduled sometime next summer (NAT08+shortness of time rules out this summer, Rocky Mount most likely rules out winter). In addition to the tournaments which took place this time around (assuming popularity), ITG2 and SSBM will (pretty) definitely be in next time around.
