People seem to play Extreme more (meh) rather than SN. Oh well.

They had the original Hiphopmania.

Only, like, one person working at the Gameworks MIGHT remember, since he's the only one that used to go to that GW wayyyyy back when.

Apparently one of Extreme's pads are screwed. Same with one of ITG's...I dunno, that's what my friend said after he played on it today.

I just whored the piss out of SN.

And the people playing Sangokushi Taisen are getting exponentially psychotic by the day.

I like my Lu Bu card though (10-1, Super Power Up = 20-1 liek whut)

It's probably because Extreme is 8 points cheaper

ya, also the pads do work, someone times though ITG will have one pad working, and the other looks like its turned off (they are not sure why/how it happens, but apparently it does). Extreme, I know is falling apart. I only helped them do the ITG machine. When i go back I will tell them what sensors will need to be foxed on the EXTREME machine.

There is no way Extreme can be THAT bad though. I was playing doubles on it, and it was very sensitive like 2 weeks ago.

I've seen pads get beat to crap in days.

Welcome to Gameworks.

The words "Routine Maintenance" don't exist to the GameWorks staff.

They badly need to hire more techs too. And they're starting to do something stupid as well. Trying to FAZE OUT TECHNICIANS, and get the floor staff to walk around with a clipboard and be able to fix shit. Obviously, my description is not that specific, but it's all you need to know to figure out that GDubs is and has been going downhill for a long time.

Ever since they fired Gabe.

Whoa, I didn't know Gabe got fired. I used to go to GW almost every single weekend back when I was in high school. My friends and I would go there for the whole entire day just to play DDR/ITG, visit the mall, and hop over to Wendy's for food. Good times.

I remember Gabe, he was funny...and sometimes an ass. But he was so good at ITG, back when it first came out. I haven't been to GW in a while. I think the newest thing I remember seeing was that game with the touch-screen and the dudes flying around. I'm only 20, so I've never been able to stay past 9pm

Overall though, I think it's a nice location. Pretty strict in there sometimes ("Hey, you can't sit on the floor!!" or "Please move that chair back!!") but other than that, I like the location of it...I mean, it's right next to the Woodfield Mall and a bunch of other places.

bump

My local GW has DDRSN1 and DDRUSA. Don't know if the SN one has been upgraded to SN2 or not.

I just got back from a trip today, just wanted to post a update. I talked to a employee there, and told him the ITG pads are having problems. He actually did something too. He fixed the right one, but sadly they dont have anymore sensors to fix the left pad, but it will get fixed very soon.

SuperNOVA and EXTREME are working beautifully, they are like perfect (EXTREMES monitor is a little dim though).

Guitar freaks has been removed. It is being repaired at a warehouse since the games speakers are broken, and it has been getting boot errors. I talked to one of the managers, they said they were not throwing it out, which is good because I would have totally stole the cabinet. lol.

thats it really though. Oh and they got 2 karaoke machines.

yep yep, that was the plan, I would have paid for it too. I am that desperate for a machine. Its at the warehouse, but I will call the manager to make sure its true, and to see when its coming back.

Hell no one played it, i could take the damn machine and no one would give a shit. I play it for a hour every time I go, so I am the machines only real customer.
