I know for a fact I still have you on one of the scoreboards on that machine. Just look for that one "CDB" above a sea of "JHK"'s. XD

I don't remember which board it was though, expert or normal. Been a while since I played that machine. Though last time I played it, ONCE of the tilt sensors was actually working, which is a rediculous break-through for this particular machine.

That's because every time I remember to play it to boot your score off, either I have no money or it's broken =(

Stupid people breaking the neck buttons...that and stupid songs skipping (see: Jazzy Cat, Endless Summer, and LA Rider)

The speakers are blown too. That was disappointing. Its still fun to play.

When it comes back, i am sure the scores will be erased though, It was getting alot of boot errors recently apparently, and was out of order for 2 weeks, then it was shipped to the warehouse, and we dont know whats going to happen.

I actually noticed this is the only arcade I have heard of having a U.S. Guitar freaks machine.

I've talked with the techs ages about how to replace just the PCB to at least a newer Mix (this is when YJA were selling 11th kits for dirt cheap), but management were being retarded and didn't want to, even though it was practically for pennies. Hell, they wouldn't even keep a ITG2 upgrade when they were offered a decent price for it, saying that they didn't need to since 1 already made enough money.

actually they upgraded it, and returned it due to problems (apparently). They were supposed to get it back, but they never did, and it sounds like they never gave shit in the first place.

Actually let me rephrase that, the returned it because it was broken (ITG2 upgrade), then they put the old ITG in, and I guess they got their money back, and they never gave a shit about upgrading it again.

R.I.P. Guitar Freaks.

The machine has sadly been taken to the warehouse, and will be sold to some other arcade, that, or it will be taken apart for use on other games. The license also expires in June for the game, so they could not longer hold onto it.

Thats just sad man.

Not from the techs I talked to. I have a completely different story that was verified by other workers there.

License for GF? What the hell are you talking about?

You either get perpetually lied to by EVERYONE or you really aren't good with passing information along. At all.

I talked to wrokers there too, they said its at a warehouse, and said it may come back (like I said there is problems booting it up sometimes, and the speakers rae dead).

Also I talked to a manager, and that is what he told me. i was just as confused as you when it came to the licensing thing too. But all arcade games have to be licensed for use under law (I Think). There is a sticker on most machine thats says "EXPIRES XX/XX/XXXX", and I think that is what he was talking about. He could be right though, but I really dont think he is since everyone seems to be disagreeing with me. I have heard 2 diffen't stories now, and I dont know which one to believe.

But the game was not so popular in the first place, so it may get scrapped, but again, I dont really know. If its not back in a month, I would say its not coming back, unless they had to get parts from Japan.

That's called an amusement license (or something of the like). Any arcade has to pay a certain fee to the state to pay to use the machine for public use per machine if they're charging people to play on it. For a place like GW, it's NOT that expensive.

PS - Regarding ITG scores, I saw your name on literally 5 songs on single, maybe like 3 or 4 on double and almost no courses. The majority of the scores are blank or really shi++y (in which case, it really isn't anything to be proud of).

I sometimes walk away from the machine (as stated before), or the pads are broken. every time I go there though, i tell the techs, and last time they got right on it, and gave me 3 free credits to play (2 to test out both sides, and one for.... well I'm not sure). the techs there are really nice. I also got to play HOTD4 free 2 times.

Also I used a few differnt names, but I am sure the 2nd is not on there much. Maybe I did not have as many scores as I thought. I really only play 5 differnt songs too (Queen of Light, Vertex, and KaW songs).

Man i really got to stop jumping to conclusions.
