Anyway, GW needs more players.

The right side still does not hold the left area very well, and the arrows still stick every once in a while. I wish they had a official ITG2 cabinet, its easier to play on.

Anyway, GW needs more players. | I still go there on a relatively regular basis, especially now that I'm 21.

Originally Posted by ranatalus wait your guys' gameworks has ITG? | ya, but it has many frequent dance pad issues though. Every time I go in there there is still something always wrong with the in the groove machine. I think its the wiring in the pad, because last time I went there I got them to put new censors in on both sides, but the left arrow on the 1P pad still had problems. The 2P side plays pretty good though, you will get the occasional arrow sticking (especially the right and up arrow), but besides that its fine. The flash drive slots dont work either. Not only that but its not updates to the newest patch either, so some songs are off sink, and for some reason you cant unlock Anubis... thought that was weird.

our SuperNOVA is perfect condition which is nice, sometimes its slippery, but they usually clean it, because I only went in there a few tomes when it was dirty/slippery.
The EXTREME here is ok as well. Pads are fine and good, but the monitor is faded.
I am suprised they are still putting up the ITG machine, when it was upstairs it was broken alot, and again sensors or the dance pads in general always have problems. Still fun to play though.

I personally think dance pads always need a nice cleaning every once in a while, both for the players sake, and so its nice to look at. I mean you dont want goose shit (yes I have seen it before), dirt, mud or water on a dance machine. Gameworks does ok when it comes to cleaning (BZ Carol Stream, is sometimes by far the worse), but they need to improve. Plus so what, we bring windex, but thats for everyone else that plays as well. On a side note, I think players would be doing arcades a favor for cleaning the dance pads, or using windex.

you'd be better off using a non-abrasive, all-purpose cleaner. you can pick them up in like, a lowes. the best one I've used is called Formula 50 by a company called ZEP. I actually used it as an all purpose cleaner/degreaser when i worked as a hydraulic motor mechanic, haha. other ones that i've found that work well are redmax and something else that is in my backpack that i cannot remember the name of but will post later if i am reminded

I have seen other come in with other things at carol stream/Naperville. But still I would use windex if the pads were in bad shape. I use it on my metal pad, seems to work fine (although sometimes your foot would just halt you where you stand which jams your toes to the end of your shoe). I also just clean it with water, and a towel when it gets really dirty, which does not happen often. I am not sure if that effects the dance pad, but I see no difference.

| It's actually an upgraded DDR 1.5 (so it's older than old as fcuk), which they threw the damn marquee away...ARGH.
