Marketplace Rating: 5 | Help FFC Omaha get Pop'n Music! They've been debating it for a long time (I've been told by multiple employees that it's been a sure bet on the next crate they get in, but they aren't sure when they'll order another crate), and with verbal asking every time we (Omaha residents) go in we're trying to get them to get a Pop'n 9th+ sometime this winter or spring. Help us out by signing this petition showing that you would play it when you come down, come down to play it, and enjoy having the extra Bemani around. http://www.petitiononline.com/popnffc/petition.html
Thanks! Let me know any thoughts or concerns about this.

Marketplace Rating: 17 | Ill sign it, but lemme give my view on the matter first.
When I opened my arcade, I asked around. I got told the most by people that if I was to get any game, they would want me to get Pop'n, IIDX, and DM. So, I bought them. Cost me a fuckton. 7k for the IIDX, 12k for the pop'n, and 6k for teh DM.
In the course of the 6 montsh I was open, with those games, I mad eback MAYBE 1k on all of them. I didn;t com close to breaking even. Hell, if I had known that people would say that, just for the bragging rights to being regulars in an arcade that has it, I would not have bought them and wasted all that money.
Good luck with this guys!

Marketplace Rating: 5 | Yeah. I think this can succeed because ~3 years after FFC started getting bemani in we're still going strong with 3 DDR machines, Happy Sky, 2xParaParaParadise machines, a GF, 2 DM's, KBM, and an ITG upgrade. I think they can take the initial hit of the (however much + flat rate for shipping the crate with the other games on it) and stand steady until it's paid off.
I'm also recommending to the management through an employee that they sell the Max2 (since it doesn't get much play) and possibly a DrumMania to help cover this if neccessary.
Thanks! | |

Marketplace Rating: 17 | Awesome! Too bad I own like 90% of the non DDR bemani machines here in Colorado. I'd be interested in another DM had I not owned one already

EDIT: Spork!, I didn't know you were an arcade OWNER... (o. O !!) You're now 156.3 points cooler in my book. If you could, would you mind sharing some wisdom about arcade management/ownership with me sometime? I'm really interested on the inner workings and thoughts that go through arcade management.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | The time for tourneys at FFC has unfortunately come and gone. The staple players who are around know who will win everything by now. :P
Seriously though, you need to assemble your crew, set some dates, and call a cab, 'cause an interstate Bemani battle sounds pretty cool. Your guys and gals against the FFC guys and gals, bragging rights up for grabs (and maybe cool prizes if we could figure some out). If this sounds cool to you, maybe... JUST MAYBE... we could figure out something on it.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Seeing that many people are signing it saying that they are willing to drive a couple hours to play it, that should also help in getting the machine if you tell your manager :O!

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Honestly, a petition really means nothing to them, as it guarantees no money, so I think it's a genuine effort, but a wasted one nonetheless. We are, however, getting some good progress on getting things rolling there.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | The only petition to date that I can think of that actually worked was getting a 2nd PPP machine, but part of that might have had to do with about 20 people shadowing the player as well. Made getting trash done a little bit of a problem

~Jinx | Well, I think there are only a few signatures that matter on the petition. Some of them are people that are like saying that they would take the long drive to play pop'n

We'll have Pop'n 13 Carnival and Pump Zero out on the floor tomorrow (Friday). Thanks for the help with the petition (and sending us the machines, spork ), and we'd love to see you guys down here to play and hang out. =).
