I'm very hesitant about Supernova cause I heard there were timing changes. Can you confirm this Normac?

I live in Terre Haute, and to my knowledge there's ITG2 in the mall, a Korean DDR 2nd/3rd mix machine in the lasertag arena, and surprisingly a brand new PIU Zero Flatscreen GX machine at Bogey's. We used to have extreme, but Namco arcades upper management had to suck and take it away >,<

No...seemed the same to me, but then again I'm by no means a hardcore player. I have no idea really. I think the difference comes in the fact that the pads are brand new and not old and unresponsive like older DDR machines. These are shiney and new and work amazingly well!

Damn, you have to go back to Idaho, that's gotta be tough cause I heard IIDX action there is an extreme rarity. If you wanted to see the DA I could probably setup something beforehand if I got enough advance notice.

There is a tighter timing window in SuperNOVA and about 30 or so (i think) of the old extreme songs that are out of sync. But Konami is releasing a patch for it soon that includes a new song.

BTW. I live in Kokomo...
Though Amp already knows me through the DDRKokomo forums...

Hey Amp, will a gameshark boot Japanese games if you use the "load w/o cheats" option? I don't want to mod my PS2, and I really want IIDXRED.

I heard that the new arcade is going to be a lazer tag....i need a itg2 machine or i will die a sad death....i have been having to go to anderson to play itg....normac and Amp if you dont know who this is its Wes i think you guys would know though..........and can you tell me the name of the article that said the lazertag was comming out in late august i cant find it on thestarpress.com and its driving me crazy!!!

Only Gameshark v2 had that capability which was released about 5 years ago so most likely it's one of the newer versions that lack that capability. The best way to play Japanese games is Swap Magic which can be found online easily.

I will state that in my opinion (along with some of the other former DDR regulars in this area) that the reason given for the closing of Sultan's Castle is nothing short of a pressline intended to cover up the politics that were going on! I don't really keep track about what goes on in Muncie much anymore cause I buy most of my stuff online or in Indianapolis cause alot of DVDs are not available locally.

In terms of this new place opening, it's gonna be a HUGE uphill battle for them if they are going to succeed in Muncie. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't get any Bemani games at all cause alot of these places don't have them due to how most 'fun centers' are. I might try to arrange a group trip for those on here in our neck of the woods to check it out.

im sure there wouldnt be any time for me to see your DA. cuz im going to Cedar Point on Monday, work all day Tuesday, go home Wednesday morning. but you should just post some pics of it for me. and yes... IIDX in Idaho is very rare. i know 4 people that play it including myself and only 2 of us can pass most another level songs and im the only one that can pas 11s and 12s. and all 4 of us live in the same city.

How did you end up in Fort Wayne for so long? I go to school there 8 months a year but we don't start until August 25th, and it seems you'll be home by then, but it seems odd to be out there for as long as it seems you were with no holidays or anything.

I dunno if they have a number or not, but if they do I suggest calling this place up and asking them if they have it as from what I've heard they would have no problem telling people what machines they got.
