I'd hate to say this, but whoever is the source of this information seems to be misinformed.

The Play Station will be opening tomorrow. Given the fact that they got an article in The Star Press talking about their opening I doubt if they would change that at the last minute unless there are some catastrophic issues. Further testament to this is that last week there was a charity function that was held there.

As for the rumor of a possible arcade in the Muncie Mall, there are currently no plans for this. From information I received, one of the main reasons for the closure of the arcade was the unsatisfactory environment as a whole. The only way a new arcade would happen in the mall would be with all new workers and crazy strict security at the entrance.

As for the price list information I haven't checked on PIU machines as I am not a fan of the series. The machine itself appears to be in good condition even though I haven't seen it up and running yet. It definitely isn't brand new as PREX 3 was released in 2003 and since then EXCEED, EXCEED 2, and ZERO have also been released.

That comment you made to Gothy was completely uncalled for.

Let me clarify that in the area met the Muncie area (where I live), and didn't really include IndyDDR.

Yea, I stopped in VERY briefly as I had to head out to a friends house afterwards for what was supposed to be a Sega Genesis marathon, and it ended up only a 5 minute deal cause the painkillers he is on was kicking his ass a little too hard so I just went home.

Oh, if there is anybody in the area who wants Arcade DDR... Well, don't expect that anytime soon. However I do have the Japanese versions of MAX, MAX2, Extreme, and Party Collection along with codebreaker codes to set it to match arcade timing and if I am notified in advance people can stop by and play if they want.

My recommendation on whatever suggestion/petition might be ran is that it go to the front office that they have. Unless I go in there with other people to do lasertag and whatnot (which I probably won't do due to obvious unfair advantages that I have) it's doubtful that they will get any money from me ever. The overall place didn't look like it got much of any business for it's opening day which is a bad sign. Also, some people saw the machine and opted to leave cause 'It's not DDR' cause most people here didn't even know of PIU's existance. I went in to see this trainwreck for myself.

channelbeat's machines are not worth the time (especially if you expect to play ITG anything on them). The cheapest bet for them would be to go through schaffer (or whoever it is in indy that supplies arcade rental). A new small store qwould be more likely to go with that. That's how we ended up with a 3rd mix korean2 in Lafayette....at a go kart place nonetheless, lol

Channelbeat's legitamacy and machine quality is practically nonexistant!
