Default Kansas City, v2

Novasonic and I rule this.

No DJ Asian Rebirths allowed. Got it?

We all play Tekken 5 now. Discuss.

What that has to do with KC is beyond me. Mebbe it's because we have two Tekken 5 machines in the area (and rather close to each other, too)?
*shrugs and ambles on...*
Guess I'm just out of it.

(To REALLY revive this thread with the launch of 7.0)
Nah, I do play Tekken 5. Just not much. Better watch out, though, or I'll charge hit your ass out of nowhere. Just ask Chuck. Last summer's all-you-can-play nights at AS were fun....

ANYWAY, to sum it up, PP is expensive but has tons of stuff, NC has nothing except for ITG2 but is dirt cheap, and everywhere else plain sucks. Oh, and nobody knows/uses DDRKC anymore. Horray!

Yeah, this thread needed to be revived.

I heard KC will get one SuperNOVA machine, at either Nascart or Power Play. Not too sure yet. I also heard something about Cool Crest wanting to get a SuperNOVA machine too. I think they're getting an ITG2 dedicab as well.

PP and NC have nothing to do with each other, so they could each get a SN machine, from what I know, Paul at PP is working on getting one. I can't say anything about NC though.

KC's arcade scene kinda sucks now, no one plays anything anymore. There's like 4 people that play Tekken and only Damien really plays ITG seriously anymore.

I've been hearing a lot of people say "I'll get serious when we get ITG3 or DDRSN."

All KC has is ITG and DDR. We need some different bemani games, at least an IIDX machine.

We do have them. In St. Joseph, at Memories Games. PPP, DMX, Pop'n 8, KBM, and IIDX (currently out-of-order), in addition to ITG2 and DDR. Remember, CC had an IIDX, and nobody played it, practically, and it was always broken. Anyway, if you want something different in town, Laser Mania used to have 5th Mix and DMX2 Append JPARADISE. The DMX is now gone, but 5th Mix might still be around. I recall hearing that it got moved, but I can't remember where.

Well, ddrkc went down and came back as ddrkc.us, and after that, nobody really has cared... the site rarely gets any posts, and maybe a handful of visitors a day. Oh well.
