Default Pop'N Music Fever now at Memories Games!

Latest news:

<5/24/07>
Pop'N Music Fever now on the floor.
ITG 2 has ITG 3 songs added and lots more.
Expansion under way, more information to follow later this summer.

--------------
<old news>
Been a few developments in our place, and I haven't posted here in quite a while.

We moved out of the mall and into a bigger location with more control.

ITG has had loads of songs added. r21 installed, but like it matters....

Beatmania Core Remix is back on the floor.

Para Para is back on the floor.

IIDx (8th) is actually running again. No videos, but it works. 2 songs known to cause a crash, but otherwise has been okay for several days.

We also have Dance Maniax 2, DDR Extreme, and Pop'N 8 in a showcase cab.

Other items of note, 2 brand new alley rollers installed about 2 weeks ago (Fireballs) , and Time Crisis 4 arrived last Thursday.

Location would be nice. Right now, your post tells us nothing about where this place is.

Ok Folks, this is all tentative, so dont get your panties all twisted up just yet.

How far are you willing to travel to play a Pop'n Music Fever and IIDX Distorted?

We'd like a little input on this before we commit to anything. Helluva investment to make being that locally, there isnt a lot of interest in our Pop'n 8 (showcase cabinet, customized) and IIDX 8th style. The Fever, if we make the committment, is a dedicab, not an upgrade to our chowcase cabinet.

Let us know where you are, and if you would roadtrip to play.

FWIW, we will be adding a Lazertag arena by summer, plus we still have all bemani games listed in my previous post....including DanceManiax 2ndMix which I just noticed I failed to mention..

Would appreciate any and all feedback on this folks!!!!

SHOULD have Laser Tag by summer.

Not completely a done deal yet, but I am about to sign the lease for the rest of the space, so rest assured we will be doing something with it ASAP.

we'd probably drive down from Omaha once or twice a month to play FEVER and DD. 2 hours isn't very far.

I told you not to go spreading that around, because some of that information is already not completely true . IIDX DD won't be coming until just after Spring Semester finishes.

We might hit you guys up on our way back up from OK. Probably won't stay for too long but it'll be neat to see what you guys have there.

I'll probably roll through sometime on Sunday 11th, probably around 5-6. If you wanna say hi, I'll try to remember to wear something identifiable like my GHII shirt. Hope to catch one of you guys there.

That is almost completely a given these days. Chris and I are alternating shifts except for one that wife takes. Weekends you stand a decent chance of catching us both there at the same time.

Jinx>

90% of what we have is similar to FFC...the only Bemani on our floor that you don't have is DanceManiax, well also an old school Beatmania and if I remember, your ITG isnt hacked for custom songs, we've got _LOTS_ on ours.

And promise not to make fun of our showcase cabinet Pop'n Music 8...it might be much improved upon soon.

And yeah, i thought pretty much the same thing Faded did when you said you'd hope to catch one of us there....sucks about losin an employee, but we are making do for the time being.

Heh, I really didn't expect much of a difference in selection; I was more or less hoping to catch some of you scene guys and see your place. Do you two just work there or do you (partially) own it?

You guys didn't get that DanceManiaX from Oklahoma, did you? The old arcade I used to frequent went out of business late last year and had to get rid of theirs. The lack of DM makes me sad, though. With the FFC 10th Mix being broken, I'm running on the fumes of what 7th Mix has to offer. I'm sure it'll be a blast seeing the place anyway.

Do you guys have name tags or any way I can figure out who you guys are in person?
