Oh hey, you weren't there the other night were you?

If so, were you one of the guys I sessioned with that accidentally picked Mad Blast? hahaha...oh man, even with autobass the ADV is fucking bananas. If so, sorry I went right back to playing after we failed. I didn't know you wanted to session again.

But yeah, all they need to do now is replace practically every sensor on the DMV and it'll be good. Nearly failed Chocolate Philosophy EXT because the snare was not registering at all for most of the song.

Oh, I should probably ask here too, have you played on the DM at AFC Westland recently? If so, how's the condition on it? I'm thinking about going there soon to play on it since the DMV at PP is getting ridiculous.

So I was at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant eating dinner decided to play a game or two of DDREX since the last time I was here, they had pretty good pads. Machine used to be like .75 cents for 3 songs on their little card dealy until you got over X amount of points to earn VIP status. Well now they are charging $1.01 per game of DDREX for 3 songs. I told the guys at the desk that I thought it was the dumbest thing ever and they were like well we just aren't making enough money. So yeah, they still have a good 2p pad didn't try the 1p pad but the price is now stupid.

I remember when they Had 5th mix. I use to go there all time. I was young enough to go to that Kid''s Quest thing. I love the fact that DDR was FREE! Thats what i did for the 8 hours i was there. Now i don't go there because its too far and we have no money . O well

but then, it was broke all the time in the kids quest.

Why would they charge $1.01 for a game? that doesnt make any sense.

Played on Westland's DM this weekend. The volume was turned down on the machine so it was pretty difficult to hear. I managed to get one of the staff there to turn it up, but that didn't help the machine much. I take back what I said about Pete's machine, it's in excellent shape compared to Westland's. Westland's hi-hat is still ghetto rigged and to have it register rapid hits you have to hit it really hard. The snare pad is kind of loose inside the thing it's mounted to, so when you hit it you have the snare hit that's played over the machine, and then slightly after that you have the sound of the pad rocking, which makes it pretty easy to get off beat. I don't know how the toms were, didn't really pay attention to them. The cymbal was slightly unresponsive as well.

As an example, I was failing songs like Gekkouchou ADV and Futari wa raburabu ADV, songs that I can normally clear with an A or so. Later that evening I went to Pete's and managed to clear Kono ko no nanatsu no oiwai ni ADV with a B. So yeah, I don't know if it'll affect anyone else's playing but I certainly can't play on Westland's machine due to the condition it's in.

Which sucks, when I was there it was fine, but now that it sucks, I have no where nearby to play DM anymore.

The Machine at GOM5 for DM was in perfect condition. It was awesome.

My buddy works in the arcade at Soaring Eagle, and they (The owners) really don't give a crap about the machines, they just want money. And there's only, what, 2 other DDR EX machines in Mt. Pleasant. I think. And I heard the others are even worse (Not cheaper, but the pads blow).

Farmington Hills represent. Zap Zone for the win.

We've got ItG 2 and DDR EX, and hopefully we'll be upgrading to SuperNova soon. We need to talk to the owner and punch him in the face to get that upgrade.

I also want to talk to him about letting us hack the ItG 2 because, well, I want to play my originals on foot. One day...
