Total Tokens: 275.09 Donate Tokens | So I got asked something really crazy today. I exploited our ITG2 machine in Frankenmuth and spoke with Brian, the son of the owner of Alpha on Wednesday. I went back to Frankenmuth today and the Technician told me to get in contact with Ghada at Oakland as they want to pay me to go all through Michigan and Exploit and add Songs to all of their ITG1 and ITG2 cabinets. They are willing to pay me for my troubles *Don't know how much yet* But the real question, I guess would be.... Should I Do It? I mean I dunno, I don't want to get into any legal trouble over it.

But yah.....it could get bad if it gets around/etc.
Otherwise...only do it if they upgrade their GF/DM machines at both locations to V or higher heh.

Oakland will guaranteed be receiving an upgrade kit. There is no way in hell that they will buy another Dedicab for that place. The only arcade that will probably get another Dedicab will be Frankenmuth because our dance games bring in ridiculous amounts of money. In other news, Chuck E Cheese in Saginaw now has PIU Zero for .25 CENTS!!! I haven't been there yet personally to tell you what version of machine it is but yeah. I'll find out on Wednesday.
And as far as exploiting the machines, Alpha wants me to do it though I am not really willing to do it. So unless they offer a damn good amount of cash, forget it.

....besides, don't help them openly. they're mostly cocks.
also, for the love of god get some good songs on the Westland machine!

The Westland machine is NOT my doing. One of the local guys, that I personally do know, asked me for information on how to do it and over time I have given him the how-to. He is really pretty much on his own with it. What people don't seem to understand is that there is quite a bit of work that needs to be done to get them working on the machine. Everything has to be 48000khz and OGG format for it to work. That converting mp3's over to OGG takes quite a bit of time. There are also other things that you have to do but it is all a pain, each update needs a updated cache also. In Frankenmuth, we deleted some songs recently, DDREX and DDR Euromix folders. The game starts to become unstable around 1,600-1,700 songs. You will start getting machine pad greats or misses. This is just with the default 256mb of ram on the machine. If you upgraded that, I'm sure you could get quite a bit more out of it. But I am not going to pay the cash for more ram.
I am very well aware of the rammifications that exploiting all the machines could cause, however, at the same token. Roxor has not sued anyone for doing so. There are more exploited machines in the US than you think. Its kind of like the whole deal of you buy a dvd recorder and copy dvd's. Its not legal but no one is going to stop you from doing it. Once the arcade has bought the machine, it is THERE machine, they can do with it whatever they want. Roxor has specifically stated that it voids the warranty which is only like 90 days or 6 months anyway. Though I do find it funny that you tell me OH don't do it to all the machines, BUT YOU SERIOUSLY HAVE TO GET SOME GOOD SONGS ON THE WESTLAND MACHINE. Seems like to me someone is a little biased or jealous of the Frankenmuth machine.
I talk to plaguefox regularly, he knows of the things that I do. He is well aware and he would be well aware of the situation if I chose to do it. I do not have a problem being honest with him. If I can get ahold of him, I will ask him and post the conversation.
As for Alpha being total Cocks. Certain arcades yes, Oakland being one of them. In order for any of it to happen, I have to talk to Ghada... HAHA, yeah.... I do not like Ghada. End of story, bye bye.
