wow, just got to play SuperNOVA at Gameworks and omfg it was awsome! ^___^
The first time I played Xepher on oni I passed with an A! wOOt! And then my bud Justin passed Healing-D-Vision on his third shot at it!!!! I'm not sure if it unlocked tho cuz I didn't see it on the ALL MUSIC list. All we had to do was get a AA average on the MEDIUM selection, pretty easy. Kinda same deal with FAXX, but on ALL MUSIC mode. And since Justin passed HDV, we had a shot at CHAOS...ouchies. Miss one step and u failz >_< The only off-sync song out of the ones I played was Toxic. Well thats about it from me.

I really wanna play SN but I'm probably not gonna have the chance for a while.
Unless skateville gets it soon. But I'm not expecting it to be that great there. I've played Extreme there and it really sucked because of the main music. And all of the loud kids.

Well at gameworks this is what I noticed on DDR SN. I don't know if other SN machines have this (of course some of its obvious):

After you pick a song to get to the options you have to hold the button for the whole time. unlike extreme you cant release it for a sec and hold it again.

You can't close a Song Folder in ABC Sorting. you have to open a different letter to close it.

The new songs I played are off sync.

There are no Old Dancemania Songs (i.e. Captain Jack, Waka Laka, Butterfly, etc.)

I got to play Fascination Maxx. Extra Stage. you got to get 95% perfects now.

You can enter more letters in the name entry (8 instead of 4). I entered PATRICKX.

I didn't see Chaos, or Fascination Maxx on regular stages so I guess nothing is unlocked.

No memory card slots. (still)

To select your character (its back in the arcade!) you have to do it in the options screen.

So I'm going to be up in the cities this weekend and was curious as to which location I should visit to get some DDR-ing action in. I would like to hit up the ITG2 machine, but if there's a Supernova machine I would much rather go there. What are the conditions of the machines?

Time Out in Burnsville is a good location. They have a ITG2 crapocab, but it works pretty well. And a extreme with good pads. Otherwise Gameworks in Minneapolis (I think?) has SN.

So just as an update... I might be heading to the Maplewood Mall Saturday evening.

But the hotel we are staying at (Graves 601) is literally a block away from Gameworks and Supernova. That's fucking bitching. So out of curiousity how much DOES that machine cost to play?

It costs 26 credits with one of the cards, but it's better to go to Gameworks between 4-7 cuz it's half-price at that time! I'm not sure how much it costs in actual dollars, but a $20 lasted me from 3-7!

So just a heads-up I told eggman i might swing by Maplewood but right now I'm not sure if I will or not, it depends on what happens with the rest of the people I'm with. But by God I am going to play SN at some point. How could I NOT when staying a block away?

Nice to hear the pads that I used to work on ever so long ago are still in good working order. Woot!

I've been good. West coast is ok, but up here in Washington, DDR isn't that massive. Still slamming away at IIDX? XD

I have nothing relevant to say; I'm just making it aware that I finally signed up for these boards upon the demise of BMN.

Oh shit, gang's all here.

@Wade: yeah, it's about the only music game I've been into lately. No time for anything else with all of the other crap I've got on my plate right now.
