I make it a point to either step on them or hit them. If their parents yell at me, you ask them why don't they learn to watch their kid. It's pretty damn obvious it's not your job to.

Thankfully, I've generally had good luck with kids not being on pads and such (with a few notable exceptions at BZR).

More often, though, the problem will be with either overtly-chatty kids playing 20 Questions/making inane comments ("That game doesn't give you any tickets. You know that, right?" said one of them in the middle of my ITG2 round) or hanging off of the bar (that I'm generally holding!) while I play.

Their generally unwatchful parents tend to *really* annoy me (letting their five-year olds run amok in a giant amusement center), though there are sometimes exceptions (overly apologetic parents, for one example) :P

Didn't you know though? That's how you're supposed to parent these days. You dump your kid off in a public area so someone else can babysit for them.

Sadly, that does seem to be a growing trend. What's worse is the kids who don't even play the game, and stomp on the pads ad naseum, causing them to break so I can't even play on them (which, I suspect, is a major part of why it's somewhat difficult to find a DDR machine nowadays that doesn't have either broken or low-quality pads (aside from lazy or incompetent techs)).

well it has not been a problem recently for me. I am not a very rude person in person, or that is... I dont want to be. If anything I get many questions while I play, which I dont mind answering from people watching me play. Hell I enjoy having a crowd. I am usually asked how long I have been playing constantly though.

Also I am not being racist, but seriously, the most obnoxious people are black people. In fact at least once a month I get a person (who is black) trying to impersonate me/ghost me on a pad, but obviously trying to be funny in front of his friends. Pual completely went insane when some guy did that to me last month. And its only black people that do it to me.

Once again, I am not being racist, especially since thats the minority most of the time when i go there... at least in the arcade anyways.

this Saturday when I went, everyone was there. Paul, WindEU, and yes, even LilQ played a round (I thought this guy stopped playing?). Ya, that hack kicks ass too, I really like that purple theme thats on there. I forgot the volume code

Mike was there last time I played. I was surprised. He's still damn good.

Also, it feels like both pads are about to seperate from each other. I actually had to screw the bracket on the back of SN2 back in, and it only has half of the proper amount of screws.

Yeah so went last night, ITG2 was LOUD as HELL. Ridiculously impossible to hear SN2. Which was another thing, it was off when we came in because the players didn't want to deal with the attract sound. Seriously, then why doesn't the workers just move the damn SN2 machine somewhere else?

The workers at BZN are not exactly the brightest bunch. Especially Gina.

Though the tech guy is usually pretty cool. Forgot his name.

ya, I really like the ITG machine, but once you put in the volume code, and change the volume... ya.. it gets so loud, you think SN2 is muted. Also expect it to be more crowded because the machine seems to be getting a good reputation from players (because of the hack).

I did ask if they could turn up SuperNOVA 2. Sean has the key, and I have not seen him in over a month, so it could be a while before I can get that turned up, or if a tech feels like telling him to turn it up, that would be great.

I also really like the ITG machine as well. Only negative think i have to say about it is random crashing on the song wheel (it happened 3 times when I was there, 2 to me, and one for Paul).

I went to BZ to play DDR SN2 on a trip to IL to see Jons dad. It was horrible. There were some rude ITG people (Not some of the ones I usually see there, some new ones), The DDR was really quiet, and the ITG was loud as hell. I told the lady and she fixed itbu turning down the ITG, and then some guy said that he had it turned right back up by doing something on the pad, which I didnt know you could do, but I could really care less about ITG. Also, the theme there was now ITG3, with a banner and everything. I kinda hope a konami rep or someone else of importance goes by, sees that, and someone gets in a hell of a lot of trouble. I accually have a picture of it.
Either way, I was planning on making trips to BZ at least twice a year, but screw that, the place has gone to hell.

I really like the hack to turn up the volume, however it can be rather annoying (DDR is quite). Also get used to the rude people, that happens alot around this time of year there.

Wait, does this mean the machines are back up? Cause they've both been down for like a month.
