Not exactly. We actually repurchased some used PCBs from our supplier in Japan that had the Network units attached to them. We also ended up with a card reader for Drummania as part of the deal. Long story short, none of it made a difference song selection-wise. Also, it's worth noting in regards to the frequent lockups, that is probably more Konami's fault than ours. We are actually running a completely different board than we used to when we first got GF11/DM10 and it's the exact same problem. I really believe that that was the main reason why they upgraded the hardware when "V" came out. The hardware became too old to work with and too many errors. Oh yeah, we HAD the original Drummania stool when we first got the game, but it was broken shortly thereafter...... Next, I fixed the "1" key on IIDX, but we still don't have new switches to work with (the one I used was from an old game), so don't be surprised if it's still a little touchy. Finally, to those that came up tonight, a big thank you. I know we had a few upset people, but the fact that we were able to goto 2 tokens on all non-dancing Bemani helped I'm sure.

Thank you for fixing the the 1key. GOD it was HORRIBLE. It didn't seem touchy when I played it right after you fixed it. I really didn't mind the whole two token and joint premium thing too.

honestly I would've been there at 1 or 2 if I'd known it was 2-tokens. I think other people would agree and you can expect to see us there a bit earlier next Wednesday

thanks for fixing the 1-key, and all of the settings were great price-wise.

My friend and I are currently visiting his sister in Omaha, and we stopped by FFC last night (and we're planning on going up there again tonight sometime...probably around 5 PM).

Neither of us even knew that the 1-key on Happy Sky wasn't working prior to that evening. It seemed to play just fine and we were AAing Anothers on it.

I have to agree about the DDR pad conditions though. I watched a bunch of people fail stuff on the MAX2 machine because the pads were giving out a lot of pad misses. I tried the Pop8 Oni and failed about midway through the course because the arrows started acting up.

The 5th Mix seemed fine, except for the down arrow on the 2P side, which had a few pad misses while I was playing.

I didn't touch the Extreme or ITG2 machines, because we've got those at our local arcade and I didn't care to play songs that I could already play at home

And on Guitar Freaks 11, is something wrong with the 2P side guitar? I couldn't get any Wailing Bonuses with it.

John told me that FFC is upgrading Extreme to Supernova sometime in August and Andrew said PX is getting a Supernova machine.

I'll be going to Omaha in a few days and I intend to visit FFC while I'm there, and out of curiousity, what kind of shape are all of the bemani machines in right now? I'm particularly interested in the IIDX, but I also want to check out the Paras and GF/dm...

IIDX is working well now. GF works well. DM10 is in good condition and the other DM we have (I forgot what mix it was LOL) the toms sometimes don't respond well.

Both PPP machines were in good condition last week, so they should be fine.

I had problems doing Wailing Bonuses on the 2P side of Guitar Freaks, other than that, it played fine.

I didn't touch the two Drummania machines, so I have no say in that.

IIDX was working great.

Good to hear about the Paraparas. Been such a long time since I've played that one...

Also, I have a bit more solidified schedule for my trip. I'll be at FFC on both Thursday and Friday. Thursday sometime after 6 and then sometime in the afternoon on Friday (can't say when, it all depends on factors beyond my control).

Not gonna lie. DDR in Nebraska is starting to suck in recent times. A year or two ago, FFC was in decent quality...but has come really far downhill in recent times.
Maybe if you guys actually took apart and cleaned the machines on some kind of regular basisi, you could reverse some of the damage done there....

Anywho, still a nice arcade. Planet X is not as cool, but stuill fun. Haven't been to either of these places in quite a while.

Oh, and can someone take a buttload of pictures of what the inside of FFC looks like nowadays? Cause I haven't been there for a bit and would like to see it!

I have to say, I enjoyed tonight. Just kinda dissapointed that there wasn't a lot of people there. Then again, I got to the arcade around a quarter to 9, so my guess is that people were home or something...

Anyway, I'll be back there again tomorrow probably around 3 or 4 ish and I'll stay for a few hours. Hopefully I'll be able to meet some IIDX people this time around.

PS: I placed 1st on Festa and Happy Sky Hyper courses. ^_^v
