I still can't pass fffff on Normal T_T. There's one spot in there that I just can't read yet and it absolutely kills me. It's that fast part where you have to use your wrists on the top row and rotate to the bottom. I can't do that yet, lol. Which irks me......

Um...I passed Bouff on Hard without the bar and uh...OH YEAH! Who changed ITG back to 3 songs!?!?!?!?!? I didn't get to try Mythology for my final stage. It was freaking Hardcore Symphany on Medium! That threw me off.

And I almost got through Dragon Blade on Extreme, Jinx. Like, 5 more seconds and I would have had it. I doubt I would have gotten a B or better though, since I missed several notes in a row at multiple points in the song. I almost passed Concierto in Blue on Normal too. I thought I did, then got discouraged once I heard the "buh-du-du-du-du doo-do du-du-du" part for the third time.

Oh, and who was that guy in black on PIU? He was really damn good. Braz, you aren't too bad yourself. You were pumpin' as I was pop'n (hopes that came out right).

Ok, so I bought a freaking Empty Tetris Cabinet, and I was thinking about turning it into a DJ Max machine. Anyone like that idea? I'd rather not do it unless people would play it at West Fest.

That fffff song is fun as hell to play. I passed it on hyper my second trip up there. I tried playin it on EX for shits and giggles, no way in hell i'll ever pass that, I think 39 is my limit, crapfully though. I can usually get 90k or above on 34-35's. I'm not friggin Japanese damit.

I dig the crap out of Eligoth ( think that was the name of the song)
That game would kick so much more ass if they woudlve built in an option to turn the menu timer off... scrollin to find a good beat and gettin stuck with some crap song sucks.

I'm guessin Tuesday isnt a busy day for the Pop'n players at FFC. The two times I've been up, there was only one local playin.

I'm pretty sure i saw modarius (recognized him from a couple of videos he posted of himself playin the Pop'n machine) this past tuesday..think he had just got there and was playin Pump as I was burnin my last dollars worth of tokens in the Pop'n machine before we headed back to Missouri.

Even though, from what I understand, the Pop'n isnt included in the wednesday Bemani special..I still might try to make it up on a wednesday just to catch more of the locals. I'm not really hardcore into much of the other Bemani, so having it the same price doesnt really irk me.

for what its worth,in case anyone is wondering who i am,
both trips i had on a blue'ish flannel and grey skullcap
first week shaggy beard, second week no beard, heh
and I spent 95% of time there on the Pop'n machine

I'll probably be up there again sometime in the next few weeks

If you show up wearing the same stuff, tell us before you arrive and I'll look for you.

Ironically, I worked really hard tonight so that I wouldn't have so much work tomorrow... only to find out that I don't work tomorrow (the afternoon shifts aren't working tomorrow due to the holiday hours). :P

Elegoth is the only Pop'n song I can do in the 30s.

Don't think of my pop'n skill from those videos, hahaha. Those are really embarassing. I pass a good amount of 37-39s now, including gradius ex, des reggae, 2 bars away on arabiata ex (or whatever), and got pretty close on absolute rock guitar ex. I can also 95k most songs I play. I got a 96k on lamento hyper (1034/32/50~). But yeah. I know who you are, you left right when I got there pretty much, haha. Hopefully see you again if you make it up.

des reggae ex? daaamn, i'll probably never pass that song

I just dont have the two hand/two rhythm coordination skills

I probably wont be up there anytime soon, seeing as some punkass teenager slammed into my PARKED car this afternoon.

The sad part of this is...about one month ago, some old lady did the same thing to my OLD car. I turn around, put the insurance money down on a 2003 Hyundai, only to have the same thing happen. I havent even got it tagged yet, nor made a payment on it, so i dont know what the crap is gonna happen with the financing and whatnot. Guess I cant find out til at least tuesday...merry f'n christmas to me! I've been parkin in the same spot for nearly 6 years, without problems and within 30 days I've had two people slam into two of my parked cars. People suck

LOL, yeah, I was referring to Wig's post.

I hope on going down there tomorrow morning if I can get up early enough. That'll be a chore for me though, as the past few days have been pretty frantic for me and I will most definitely sleep sound tonight.

Hell, why am I even on here? Good freaking night.

You can hang with me a bit. I'll be on floor from 11:00 to 6:00.

If any of you find anything wrong with the Bemani games, make sure to tell me. I'll be hanging out with Tyler and learning some things in the next week or so.

I've also been given about twice as many hours for the next two weeks, so expect to see me there a lot (yeah, mixed blessing depending on who you are). Are any of you going to the New Year's Eve thing there? It's on a day that I work, so I'll be sitting up watching the TV there until 2AM.

Sorry to hear about your luck, Wig. When my wife and I moved to Omaha, we had never had any sort of vehicular impact problems prior, but within the first two months we had heavy petting from an SUV, a hit and run from a kid without a license or permission to be in the car, and last month I was hit while parked eating a Whopper. :P

I think I have the best car-hit-whatever story. So it was me, susman, and alex bennie (the one thats really good at pump) and we were in chicago. We were sitting at this stop sign when we feel a little push. We were all like "wtf?" and looked behind us and there was this really old guy behind us. And then it happened again. So me and susman get out of the car and were like "what the fuck are you doing?". He said "something something something I'm just creepin".

Us being really confused of what do from there we just kept driving, hahaha.
