Anywho, I frequent FFC every Wednesday in the morning. I'm short with dirt-blond hair and I always buy a pop to drink, so if any of you guys recognize me, say hi and let me know you're from Benamistyle. I'm only decent DDR though, and still learning IIDX and PPP, so don't expect much competition from me, lol.
My opinion on the 2 token thing is this: I understand that they are trying something new, but you just can't beat 1 token, even if 2P can access it with 3. It's still more expensive. Same with PPP, which is a REALLY bad deal since it costs 2 tokens for each person to play. Now, for a regular, non-Wednesday price, it's a great idea. But aside from making the games free, there is just no better deal than 1-Token Wednesday. Not angry at anyone over there, just stating my opinion.
And is FFC seriously getting Supernova in August? If so...w00t!

I wanted to let you know that this is my final week with the FFC. Being that I'm still part of FFC now, I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you for supporting Bemani at FFC. Though I wish we could have done so much more for you, I hope that it has been a great ride for everyone. As for what FFC still has planned, I'm told that the plan is to get a Supernova upgrade kit once they become available.
I'll still visit the boards on a regular basis, but I just won't be able to answer questions or anything like I have in the past.

Think FFC is actually going to continue to support bemani once you are no longer there to make suggestions, or is Happy Sky going to be the last we'll see as far as modern mixes of the games?

Thanks for all the energy and time you went through for us to keep us coming and honestly listening to what we wanted or had to say.
As Trick said, do you know if they'll be paying any attention to bemani games henceforth?
Also, it could just be me, but the ITG pads felt a lot lot better when we were in last night. Thanks =<

Total Tokens: 854.73 Donate Tokens | Honestly I don't know what will happen to games as far as upgrades and whatnot go. The main reason for this is that they don't really look into games from overseas near as much as they should. For quite some time now, the only way they found out about good overseas games was from me or occasionally from magazines like Arcadia that I have a subscription to. In either case, I wouldn't really expect that scenario to change in that they will all of a sudden start looking themselves. Supernova is a bit different seeing as that is going to be a North American release and our local distributor usually calls and asks us if we want certain games, so I don't think they'd pass that one up.
As for DistorteD, I really believe the community would need to speak out on that one when the time comes. GF/DM, unfortunately, may already have had its time come and go. At the time when V2 was up for pre-order, we had all our money going towards getting a new roof so that was pretty much out of the question. We did not receive any offers on V3 either. So the real problem at this point would be getting the new hardware that was introduced when V came out (and I think we all know why they replaced it, all those "Network Errors") as Konami is probably not selling it anymore. So at this point, I would say be glad that Konami is continuing the GF/DM series on PS2.
Everything else is mere speculation. I've heard that there was interest in getting Pump It Up or Pop'n Music, but neither will become a reality until a new container of games is brought in.

TELL THEM TO QUIT THE NEW WEDNESDAY SALES!!!
Seriously, it's a great deal on normal days, but you can't beat 1-Token Wednesdays...

I went there this past Wednesday, and still no SuperNova.
But not all was disappointing. I don't know if they forgot or not, but both Para Para and Beatmania were both 1 Token again!
Also, on a side note, was anyone there around 10 am or 11 am playing PPP or Beatmania? Cause some idiot was TRYING to show us up, and I kept my mouth shut...sort of. Actually, I was just loud and obnoxious...indirectly, of course. I just think it'd be funny if it was one of you guys.
Anywho, I'll be there again this Wednesday around 10 am again. Just a reminder, I'm short with dirt-blonde hair and I'm usually accompanied by a tall guy with blonde hair and my little sister, plus other random peeps who show up...randomly.

The GF machine was in horrible condition, the DDR machines were pretty bad (especially MAX2), and IIDX seemed to be the only thing that worked at all well. Plus what they did to the fighting games sucks ass too, I understand why they did it, but it still sucks.
I used to love going up there, but as of late, it kinda sucks now, which is a real shame.
