Maybe it was him. :S Whoever it was didn't have one nor any IIDX PS2 games. I told him he could have my controller but I had already sold the game.

Still available to whoever it is I promised the thing to. :P

I pulled my back out of whack yesterday... super painful to do simple movements, so I'm probably out of the arcade this week.

EDIT (Friday Night): DM's hi-hat has gone to crap again. Don't bother on it.

...People in Nebraska, interesting. How's it going everyone? I didn't read every post in this thread, so I have no idea what's going on, but where do all of you play your games at? FFC isnt as much fun as it used to be.

Generally, Bemani at FFC is dead because of lack of interest from FFC management to keep machines in good working order and a fractured community. If you don't mind me asking, who exactly are you, a new local or just someone browsing the threads? :P

Not a new local, lived in omaha all my life, actually right down the street from FFC. But I was googling Pop'n music stuff (because I want a controller and whatnot, contemplating paying the $200 or building one myself). And I stumbled upon the Bemani forum here, then stumbled upon the region. And well here I am.

And upon closer reading of this forum I notice that you Jinx, are Mr. Cragun. And in that case, I don't want your modchip, I will just do a fliptop on my slimline.

Sure has been a while, guys!

Anywho, I invite you all to Sporktoberfest '08, October 25th/26th - Colorado Springs.

I know it's a pretty far drive, but I'd love to see all of you again :-D Feel free to ask any questions or make any suggestions, I want it to run smoothly for everyone.

Hah, I'd go if I were half-way decent on any music game. But I'm not, so I will stay at home and cry myself to sleep.

It's not about winning, or losing, for that matter. I consider tournaments to be about community. Even if you get knocked out immediately, you get to meet new people, and have a good time. Creating memories, I suppose.

I don't like to embarrass myself, so come October if I'm good enough as I'd like to be, then I will see what I can do. But I hate driving long distances. And Car-pooling is out of the question, I've had bad experience with people that go to arcades and their BO. Lol, no offense to all of you of course.

pffft, BO with Dance Game players? Who ever would have thunk it?

Well, I may be adding a Exceed 2 Tournament into the mix, so I'll keep you all updated. Sad times when that's the only mix available out here

So.. serious question. How the hell did you guys learn Beatmania? I do Beginner, pass with no problem. Go to Standard and have trouble with even the level 2 songs.
