Fact: FFC opts for cost-effectiveness, not exactly "the experience".
Fact: Tekken 6 WILL come out for CS.
I think we all know that it can be inferred that with the cost of Tekken 6 AC, the odds of getting both that AND SFIV as AC versions are questionable at best.
EDIT: Fact 3 had a redundancy that was fixed. :P

I mean, that only seems logical to me. Why would they advertise getting a game that no one knows when it will come to fruition?
GG FFC. You're fucking retarded.
EDIT: Above applies if the given scenario is indeed the case.

His "fixing" the button was just coating the the underside of the button with WD40, worked great at the time (except for my smelly hands afterwards) then the next day it's effectiveness had worn off and the button began to stick again.

Total Tokens: 293.99 Donate Tokens | I'm sort of fed up with FFC and how rundown they have let the place become over the past few years... I have decided that I will either build or buy my own pop'n music controller. Buying will cost $225 at the lowest, and building will cost around $150? So i'm not sure what my best option is... Building is relatively easy, I have woodworking experience, just trying to find a good schematic at this time for what gets soldered where and which parts gets put on the open currents and closed currents..

Total Tokens: 293.99 Donate Tokens | There's only a few problems with me getting a Dao. He doesn't speak very good English, so getting support on if something breaks will be a bit more difficult, but I'm sure many other people know how to fix it... and his controller is $200 then another 80 for shipping...... $300 for a pop'n music controller seems a little expensive to me.

Total Tokens: 90.54 Donate Tokens | Yea, been pretty impressed with my Dao tho admittedly I can't really mess with it until I get through the lovely mess of moving between apartments. x_x
On a different note I think it would be best to speak up on something I've been playing with over the last couple months - getting a new Pop N Music machine in town.
Timeframe wise... would likely be this fall/winter if everything goes well and I was to make the jump.
Given that Party has a fairly nice sized price tag attached to it and that I gotta essentially convince my co-owner that this is a smart investment I wanted to see the general feeling around here on how many people would come down to my anime store specially to play a fairly well maintained Party.
Not to put any shock on people - I have no intention on fighting FFC on price. I want this machine to be in good condition and I have full intention to keep it maintained so yes, this machine will be a little bit more expensive than theirs.
So.. yes, I'm fairly open to comments/suggestions/feedback about things in general so I look forward to hearing from you guys.

Total Tokens: 695,192.96 Donate Tokens | I'm definitely interested in seeing Party (moreso than any other Bemani or video game at the moment). I would make trips out 3+ times a week to play it and would be entirely fine with $1 pricing. A guy (who doesn't post here) who used to live here and is moving back would also likely be interested in it. I also know a guy in Lincoln who would be there at least 1-2 days of the week playing it.
I'm not going to lie, it would not be an instant/big moneymaker and it would most likely take at least 2-3 years to make back the full cost of the machine. I'm relatively sure some Minnesota people and potentially Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, Colorado, Canada, etc. people would be interested in making trips out to play it. And like I said, especially assuming it's maintained and upgraded to 17 or 18 eventually (depending on hardware upgrades, price, release times), I doubt anyone would have an issue paying $1 for a game.
If it's at all possible, I would definitely put a lot of money into the machine over time. As far as average customers, I think in that environment it would do fairly well depending partly on the amount of customers the store can bring in. If there's anything specific you want to inquire into beyond that, let me know.

Trust me - I'm not expecting this to break even over night - I have a time frame that is near what you mentioned for when I would *like* for it to have essentially cleared but its not stone solid for when I consider a project like this a success.
Promotion of something like this... thats something I would definitely ask for help with since unlike FFC, my location is not known for being a gaming destination. So yea, if/when the stars align any help on that front would be appreciated.

Total Tokens: 293.99 Donate Tokens | I don't know where your store is, but if it's near then I would gladly make the trip. Hopefully sometime soon I will have built/bought my own controller, so I wouldn't be visiting the Pop'n machine as much as I normally would, but I would still stop in to play it to get the "arcade" (even though i'm assuming its not much of an arcade, being an anime shop and all) experience. I'm still pretty sucky at this point, I would actually like to get to the point where people actually look over to see what is going on, rather than just walking by. my current max of 23 only attracts little kids.
Also.. I still see $300 as a hefty price tag for the Dao... Desktop Arcade sells their for $200 and $25 shipped, so $225. Theirs is a lot more bland than Dao's and they charge extra for LCD... but it is cheaper, and the only real complaints they get about their controller isn't about the controller but about how long it takes for them to actually ship it out.

Everything on a Dao is arcade perfect; from personal experience and personally related remarks, there is noticeable difference in a DASC. Definitely your call but I would say the $75 is worth every penny.
Justin> I can definitely help with promotion. My suggestion would be to make a separate thread here to gauge interest in the region (since not all of the Midwest people read the Nebraska thread regularly haha) and I can crosspost it to other forums.
