I think an Ultracade would be great; maybe see if Mark will sell you the one he's got at Owens Toledo. I don't know how well it did when he had it at BGSU, but considering the number of games it has, I can't imagine it did THAT poorly.

Thanks for all the input! At the moment I may be calling Mark about purchasing the SC2 or capcom broken cabinet just so I have something to put a blaz or SF4 board in if that cab works. Stompy if u can plant a seed with mark regarding the sale before he moves them out that would be great.

I do in fact have leads on SF4 and Blaz atm. gonna cost me at least an arm to get but we'll see... I'm investigating candy cab purchases too atm but it would really help if I had a freakin truck...

At least Devin, Martin, and I are going to stop in Saturday afternoon, and we might be bringing Dewgy as well. I kind of wanted to hit El Zarape again so if anyone else shows up we might arrange for a group lunch.

Also, Blazblue would be friggin' great if you can manage to pull that off.

You get a BlazBlue cab in there, i'll never leave. I'll shackle myself to that room.

SF4 would do crazy good at BG. It's instant recognition by anyone compared to Blazblue. I'd personally like Blazblue more but the better business decision is undoubtedly SF4. You'd get a lot of random people playing it and wanting to form tourneys. I remember people played the shit out of SF2 on the ultracade. Make it fair priced and you will have a lot of people playing.

SF4 = stupid expensive though because of the required 2 PCB's thing...but if GG is any indication on popularity, SF4 would have a longer lasting and much wider appeal than BB would.

Got to agree that SF4 would be the best idea. BlazBlue would be cool, but SF4 has brand name recognition.

I'd personally love to have a BB machine that close by, but I'm going to have to agree about SF4 probably bringing in a lot more money. Tekken 6 could also be a good choice, but really it all depends on how much it costs to get the things. (personally, SF4 and T6 don't really do anything for me at all)

A well maintained MvC2 would make money if there aren't many in the area.

What about racing games? They generally seem to be among the more played at arcades I've been to.

Outrun 2 (as well as SP I believe) comes in standing cabs, addressing any space concerns, and it's pretty enough to draw in random people for a play or two.

I second the Outrun 2 idea, honestly. That or Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune.

The machine has been freezing more and more as of late (it froze on me 3 times in the past 36 hours). I would have told you sooner too Alex, but I knew you were busy today.

To the Columbus Crew (no relation): Sorry about not showing up again, I got caught up in some activities on my floor (basically my RA asked me some stuff about some happenings from last night). It was real cool meeting up with you guys, though you could all toast me at IIDX hah.
