I wish I could make it more often but I live 3 hours away and gas is a bitch. On top of that I work full time and I can only come down on weekends, which for the most part, the union is closed on. I can talk the person collecting for me and tell her to change it though.
We changed it last night. Its back to 2 stages. Also, fix the volume from being god loud deaf to normal. Pomu's volume was also upped a bit to compensate.
I should be going down the weekend of the 23rd. I'm gonna e-mail the director of the union so I can get into the arcade that weekend. I will clean the buttons and install the header and pop cartons. Let me know if anything else is wrong with the gameroom. I will bring my tools anyways.
Something's weird (moreso than typical) with the Radiant Silvergun. The sound isn't working, and when I got here this morning, the monitor was on but there was no picture. I turned it off and on (which fixed the picture) but the monitor is flickering a lot more than I remember.
That cabinet has had problems since day one. It'll be the first to go when IIDX gets installed this fall, and we may even have to temporarily remove BOTH candy cabs in order for IIDX to fit too. We'll see how things go when I get back to campus.

Would it be possible to put Radiant Silvergun in the other cabinet? From what I've seen, it gets more play than Rival Schools does, though admittedly I'm not up there much anymore.
Also, quick question. Why are they called "candy" cabinets?

Matt's the one to ask about that, I won't be back in BG until fall semester. I can imagine he could do it, though. He knows his way around the insides of the cabs pretty well.
They're called candy cabs because their plastic shells resemble hard candy. The name stuck in Japan and that's just kind of what they go by these days.

Yeah I can do that. I'll be up in the BG area around the 23rd of this month. So I'll make the switch, assuming there will be no problems that occur haha.
Ah thats right. Completely forgot about that. Yeah I was never really shown how to do it, and I don't want to fuck anything major up. Maybe I'll just throw Guilty Gear XX in, instead of Rival Schools.
