Hours until the 2nd are 7am-7pm Mon-Thurs, 7am-5pm Friday, closed Sat/Sun. The TV lounge area outside the arcade is open 24/7, I believe.

Minor update: KBM 2nd did not get put in because something's wrong with it. I don't recall what. Mark is planning to remove the soundless Neo-Geo and return the small Soul Calibur II, but not sure when that will happen; he needs to replace the DVD-ROM drive in it first.

I'll be up in BG tomorrow for most of the day (until about 2 or so), and I'll be in the arcade in the morning. I hope nothing's messed up in it :\

Everything seems to be fine. Played some Pop'n, and the buttons are still good. There are noises coming from GF 11 (monitor? Speaker?). That's all I noticed.

I'll have to spend a day up there again now since GF 11 is in. Is it 50 cents for a play like the old Gf?

Yeah, it's 50 cents. I wasn't able to play it, but I'm sure it's in good condition.

I'll be moving down to BG this weekend, and I'll definitely be stopping in the arcade during the week. It depends on what time I'll be stopping by, if I'm working or not that day.

The coin slot on the Drummania is jammed up as of sometime earlier today. I lost a dollar to it.

Also: The buttons on the GF11th feel kind of sticky.

I'll try to be down there on Monday (gotta see how the moving goes). I'm not sure how much help I'll be, considering they aren't my machines or anything.

GF11 feels alright to me. The buttons don't travel as far as I'm used to on other machines, but I guess that's good.

About the place being the least profitable for Mark...I would believe it because none of us play the ITG or anything else in there during the school year. It's going to be mainly the good Bemani and candy cabs that will make money.

If he doesn't take out some of those machines (GF1 mainly) then he's just asking for a fire code violation or something that is also going to get us into trouble once we put the IIDX machine in there. I mean, it's going to have to replace the couch in there now which is the only available sitting space. While I personally don't feel this is a bad idea, others may disagree. However an alternative that I have gone over with Arbel is to have stools for some of the games as well, which isnt uncommon for arcades to have stools for players to sit on while they play fighters, shmups, etc.

A possible way to get stools is if we take up a donation and then purchase some at wal mart or other stores nearby. Or if Arbel is willing, he can discuss this option with the union, it should provide more room for games (which = more money for them) and still ample seating.

just a thought.

So no one plays ITG anymore Duracell? Why would the GF1 be in there still, with GF11 being far superior and much more worth my 50 cents. ITG machine makes nearly every other game impossible to hear when it is played.

The people in the area who used to frequent 2PLAY still go for ITG, though the student base at BGSU really isn't happy about that. Any time they visit to play ITG, the room clears out and generally whoever is around spends the next half hour bitching that they're there at all. the dance game is definitely a welcome addition to the room, but it's creating some really unwelcome drama. The ITG people hate the other machines being there, cutting into their dance game, and everyone else hates them for being there at all.

It would be really nice if Mark would consider removing some of his virtually-never-played cabinets from the game room, if he's still convinced leaving Guitar Freaks 1st in there is a good plan, especially if he's eventually going to bring Keyboardmania in there. I don't mean to come off as a dick to him at all, because it was cool of him to give us any space in there at all, but all I ever hear from people in the game room is how little half of his games are played, and that they're just taking up space that could be better suited for more seating, or better games.

If we can't somehow secure a little more space for our bemani games (our being the ones not owned by Mark) in the gameroom for this year, something is going to have to be removed in order to fit IIDX in there. Arbel's working on setting up an appointment with the head of Union affairs when we get back on campus next week, so hopefully we can work towards something that everyone can be happy with. IIDX will be a huge draw for people, and I want to see that thing being played as often as possible

Yahoo!オークション - ギターフリークス V3 PCB 他、数点 (f-g1)

Found this on YAJ. Think you could upgrade GF11th to V3 with this? I would love for session mode.

There is this one too, Yahoo!オークション - ギターフリークス V3 PCB 他 (u-g)

I'll pass the word along to Phorrest, but he was probably waiting until V4's eventual release to upgrade his GF to V3 anyway. He paid a pretty big chunk of money to get V3 for his DrumMania before new hardware came out, so I'll bet he was waiting for these to start showing up on YAJ. Thanks for the links
