I plan on going right now with Devin (aka Devo) from Columbus and Martin from Cincinnati. Kors K will be great to see, and I'll try to squeeze in as much time on IIDX DistorteD and Pop'n Fever as possible.

Then again, with all of the attention on those, quality time on GF/DM may be in order..

Thats the only downside Id expect from going; having to wait in an insanely long time to play IIDX DistorteD, and since I suck and know nothing of the songs on there, I'd probly fail my first song be starting in line all over again. I can only clear some 9s and two 10s, and from what I've seen all the anothers and 7ks are about that level.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. That's why I'll try harder songs on my final and extra stages. If I get fired from my job I'll probably be leaving on Tuesday the 4th, and if I don't I'll fly in sometime on Friday and leave sometime on Monday. It sucks but at least I'd get to go. I'm looking forward to playing some more Pop'n Fever, but definitely DistorteD since I didn't get to play much IIDX while I was in Japan. Couldn't find the machines :<

Thanks.

Its in North Ridgeville about 25 mins. Away from parma the address is

37500 center ridge rd
North ridgeville OH, 44039

The machine is amazing pads are in perfect conditions records are a little rough to get on it tho that's the main complaint from all the people that like seeing there name on it but a cool trick only locals know is if you walk in go to the front counter ask for an "itg2 players pass" every two tokens you buy you get one free making it .50 for three songs all timers are off on the machine so you can take your time too

So Cedar Point got Supernova yesterday. Posting my observations here...story in the Supernova Locations thread.

My observations:
-- Records are based on machine score, and all machine scores, regardless of foot rating are based out of 1000000. You need ~950000 for a AA, or 95% DP.
-- The select buttons are retarded. You have to hold it down for a second or two for it to start scrolling automatically, and the sound is ANNOYING. Also, you have to pretty much press the left and right select buttons at the same exact time to get to ABC sort.
-- The song wheel goes back to default sort after you play a song. GAY.
-- BE SURE TO SELECT ALL MUSIC TO GET ALL THE MUSIC. When you select the difficulty, you have to go past Difficult to open up the other three options (Nonstop, Challenge, All Music). All the other difficulties have songs cut out of it.
-- You have to HOLD down and NOT let go of the start button to get to the options menu after selecting a song. You can't press, let go, and then press it again; it won't go into the menu.
-- You can't turn off characters ... But Emi is in there, so it's all good.
-- The machine stores the best machine score on a song, but we all knew that.
-- The pads are nice...but you have to put more weight than usual to hold down a freeze arrow.
-- Solo is now called Rainbow. Note is really gay.

Song observations:
-- rainbow rainbow is really early, and it's a boring 7 on Expert Could've done more with the chart, or included a nice Challenge chart.
-- Happy Angel is a great cut of it (if it was cut at all) and a really REALLY fun 8.
-- Most of the new Konami Originals are good, especially Honey Punch and True Love.
-- Long Train Runnin' is really gay now. The Pandora stuff is hawt, though.
-- Xepher Challenge, at least to me, feels harder than Sakura, but easier than any of the other 10s.
-- Max 300 Super-Max-Me-Mix Challenge is fucking retarded. Worse than that PSMO bullshit.
-- Fascination MaxX is REALLY REALLY hard on 1.5x solo reverse (aka Extra Stage).

Actually I don't have the DTX set. My uncle does. I didn't buy one because I don't care too much for DM. I'm a GF player (and a poor one at that).

Twee, Lima has a DDR (finally). It's at a movie theatre and I think it's one of the namco machines (so probably completely run down?) and actually Kenton (which may be even closer) has a DDRMAX 2 but has horrible hours (like 5-9 fridays only).

Duracell, yea game room hours are terrible but this is the first summer it's ever been open so I'm pretty happy that I've won that battle.... if you ever want to come play just let me know ahead of time because I can get in anytime.
