Both of these locations are owned collectively by Zuma Fun Centers. I know one of the people high-up in the heirarchy of managing the game rooms (that cares about/likes the bemani community), and I wanted to be able to present him with some information about each location, possibly to help him improve each one.
Any information you can give me about any of those places is great. Thanks guys

They used to have a IIDX 8th but it was shit nd got sold. Im pretty sure All Star has a SN but thats it. I have yet to visit either so others may be better help.

It's been a while since I've been there, but I know at one point they had a PIU Exceed and/or a DDR Solo Bass. Not a whole lot worth playing at the arcade, plus they charge you $2 to even get into the place (unless they changed that too).

Not a whole lot worth playing at the arcade, plus they charge you $2 to even get into the place (unless they changed that too). | Yeah, I'm pretty sure when the Premiere Palace (an old movie theatre for the non-locals) closed, All Star bought their Solo Bass. Assuming it is the same machine, it's not in bad condition, but it's still a Solo Bass.
I've never played at that particular All Star, only the west side one with a SN. I can tell you the west side's DDR machine isn't very well-maintained, and I would imagine the same goes for the east side one, but that's just speculation.
I can tell you that there's a core group of DDR players here that do a lot of traveling to play ITG/other bemani (the only music games that exist in this entire city are DDR and Pump), and if either All Star were to put forth some effort to attract the bemani community, especially by bringing ITG, they could probably attract a decent crowd. (And I actually don't like ITG personally, so I'm not just saying that because I want it.)
One other thing is that All Star isn't really a typical arcade. Both locations rely on a bunch of outdoor things (mini golf, go-karts, and I think the east one that you're asking about also has amusement park rides). I know the west location is only open seasonally unless you call and schedule a party or something; that might be true of the east one too, but I'm not sure.
And like Dave said, according to their website they charge a $2 admission fee. No way I'm paying that for some Solo Bass. If they didn't charge admission for their game room, that might be different.

I liked that place alot when I went to a few tournys there. | Im 100% sure that they have a SN1 Upgrade without the sync fix and I think the 2nd machine is Extreme. Either way, They still have two. Hate to do a shameless plug but Game Zone is pretty much where its at now in KC. Cheapest rhythm games in KC

Their old IIDX is the one I have. They sold it to me cheap, but I had to buy more parts to get it working.
It recently crapped out, but I have someone working on a new HDD for it, with any luck we'll be trying it out this weekend.

Cheapest rhythm games in KC | I thought Cool Crest's SN1 machine was a new machine (as opposed to an upgrade) since it has the new style of monitor. But yeah it doesn't have the sync fix. And yes the 2nd machine is Extreme.
Speaking of Game Zone, how's the NX2 machine working out? I haven't been to GZ since probably last summer but I'd like to go down there again to at least play Pump.

TONS of replay value. We've had it a month (as of today actually) and I'm only 32% of the way through WorldMAX and thats coming from me, who plays about 6 out of the 7 days in a week. Its awesome.

Total Tokens: 10,548.30 Donate Tokens | I was actually out there early yesterday afternoon with some friends. I didn't get a chance to play a whole lot of Pump (my friends played it most of the time while I mostly played ITG2) but I did play a couple of rounds, and (from what I saw) I thought it was pretty awesome. And I know my friends definitely enjoyed it.
I wish the mall wasn't 35 miles away from me. That's almost as far as Memories Games for me (but in the other direction).
