Default Worst Machines in the Midwest

Well what do you think are the worst machines in the Midwest that you have ever played on.

Mine is Gameworks in the Great Lakes Crossing Mall in the Detroit MI Area

IT SUX!!!!!!

The left arrow when you want to choose the song does not work
The arrows when you play don't work

IT COST $1.50 to play on that.

So have played on anything worst then this?

The DDREX at Findlay Mall was pretty bad last time I played on it, though it was a couple months back.

I do agree that the gameworks at great lakes crossing has a terrible extreme machine. 1st player side makes me sad and want to cry, and the 2p side is pretty bad, too.

Gameworks is really overpriced, unless you say, got a multiple hour game card or only play during happy hour(s). But the machines and no foreign drinks (not sure if it applies to water, but I dont want to try.)

I cant really say anything more about any other machines that are bad, since I just stay away from them.

I know most people don't even know of it's existance, but there's a DDRMAX2 machine in a very sad state in New Castle, IN which has one of the song scroll buttons broken (makes mods a huge pain in the ass on Player 2 side) and the panels misfire like crazy. We had a good DDR Extreme machine in Muncie (My neck of the woods), but they allowed it to go to hell and eventually the arcade closed down.

The PIU machine in Galesburg Illinois. It takes two-three seconds to switch songs, the left bar wobbles like crazy, and the metal part on the left side holding the machine together is coming off. Oh yeah, and it's a crappy mix, Pump extra(I think, it's a upgraded OBG machine)

Worst machine I've ever played on:

The McDonald's in the Wisconsin Dells. The pads are horrible. The machine is crappy, and worst of all, it eaither has some really bad glitch, or its a really bad bootleg, cause the text for combo, high scores, and alot of other stuff is completely wrong.

Lesson: Don't play arrow smash at fast food joints.

The Worst machine I ever played on:

the one at a bowling alley in Bis., ND.
it was an old 3rd mix machine, the arrows were delayed, so I had to step BEFORE the arrows hit, and even then it wouldn't work 100% of the time, and sometimes the selection arrows stuck so..yeah, those things rather sucked at the time.

Good god, I played on that one too... HORRIBLE. I have never played on stickier pads in my LIFE.

extreme at gameworks columbus is in pretty terrible shape

to quote one of the techs: "3 out of 4 arrows work, that's good enough"

here is a trick for you other people that play at gameworks and don't want to pay high prices!

Get a time card on thursday night

play

leave

MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SWIPE IT TO THE POINT WHERE IT SAYS "Status Change"

come back at a later time

give them that card

put $1 on it

you should have a 5 hour card again

note that you can't do this at the recharge station, it has to be done at the front counter.

Any amount of money should re-activate the time aspect, and it'll keep working until you see STATUS CHANGE

The DDR "Extreme 2" (you know the one with all the half naked people, and its shit brown) in Flarhetys in Roseville is pretty bad.

I think the worst ITG machine i've ever played on was one of the crap-o-cabs at Time Out in Burnsville.
