here is a trick for you other people that play at gameworks and don't want to pay high prices!

Get a time card on thursday night

play

leave

MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SWIPE IT TO THE POINT WHERE IT SAYS "Status Change"

come back at a later time

give them that card

put $1 on it

you should have a 5 hour card again

note that you can't do this at the recharge station, it has to be done at the front counter.

Any amount of money should re-activate the time aspect, and it'll keep working until you see STATUS CHANGE
Wow i must try that. I never thought of doing that.

Thx

ITG2 machine, Camelot Lanes, Boardman, Ohio.

I've been warning the staff for months about the upgrade ground loop problem, giving them diagrams, all that sort of thing, to no avail.

1.) Ground loop problem. It suffers from this nearly constantly, making it unplayable. (For those of you who don't know what this means, it means electrical interference with the I/O board, causing delayed input, false input, the screen getting fuzzy, the speakers buzzing...bad, bad situation.)
2.) Both bass speakers are blown out because of the ground loop problem.
3.) Most of the sensors are blown because of the ground loop problem.
4.) The screen is discolored because of the ground loop problem.

They ruined their machine because they blew off a 16-year-old kid with more knowledge than them. Their loss, I guess.

The worst I've ever played on was a Solo Bass Mix at the Premiere Palace movie theatre in Wichita, Kansas. It was pretty cheap to play, but the pads are sticky as hell and... well, it's Solo Bass.

What's really sad is, when both of the malls in town got rid of their Extreme machines, this was all that was left... then another movie theatre got a machine, and I was so excited until I noticed that it, too, was a Solo Bass. Why in God's name would anybody need 2 Solo Bass machines in one city and have that be the only DDR?

Then two other places got SuperNOVAS and I was happy.

My worst machine is Detroiter Truck Stop, Woodhaven, MI. The machine used to be pretty good. Ever since it broke, its all over. Management sucks there, too.

The SN1 at Century Theatres in Sioux Falls is pretty garbage, since I don't work there anymore and they won't let me fix the pads. :/
