Default New DDR Supernova machine possibilities/confirmations thread

Assuming it's allowed by the (not yet extant) forum rules, list new possibilities or confirmations of places getting DDR Supernova here.

· I heard that a location on Hampton Beach (NH) is getting Supernova and should already have it. This has not been confirmed and as far as I'm concerned is unlikely. Source: here.

· and of course Tokyo Game Action (MA) is going to have Supernova, located in that random town alongside Route 2... I've lived in MA all my life, but that territory's completely unknown to me. I would have no idea what's there aside from TGA.

Any arriving anytime soon at all in any of LI, New york? Or even just New York? I hope Sports Plus gets one, that's my closest arcade, and it's 15 minutes away.

The Cyberstation in the Holyoke Mall (Holyoke, MA) should have a Supernova machine sometime soon... heck, they may have one already. I talked to an employee there about a week ago, and they are supposedly ditching their crappy ITG2 machine for it.

(Seriously... that machine is held up by wood that has a tendency to get pretty messed up after some serious play. It's also an odd sight to see pads held up by spare wood >_>)

If I wasn't in the barren stretches of Norcal right now I'd know for sure.

Nooo... they fixed their ITG2 machine. Well, the 1P side, at least.

But I would love it if they got SuperNOVA... but, I'd also hate it, because I know what they'd do to it and since it's a 15 minute drive I wouldn't have any excuse to get my mom to drive me over to TGA

Also, last time I checked, they still had Extreme and ITG2, no SuperNOVA.

They have to fix that machine constantly, thanks to the wood that holds the thing together.

This is one of the many reasons they are ditching the machine. That and the game isn't very popular there. I rarely see people on it, probably due to the fact that the machine rarely works properly. I get pad misses all the time when I decide to play it. Not cool when you want to try 10+ songs. (Or any songs for that matter.) I like the game, but the pads suck, and isn't the 2P selector busted?

I was told it would be a few weeks, I believe, and that was just over a week ago. I swear to you, unless I was informed incorrectly they will have a brand spankin' new cabinet soon enough. No idea as to exactly when, but I expect it within a month or so. (There is a good demand for it.)

As for TGA, it isn't a very long drive (1.5 hours or so). And if you get really stuck, I could probably organize a day trip up there with a bunch of people if everyone is willing to chip in for gas and provisions. I've been thinking about it, as it is close enough to where I live to justify a trip.

Speaking of, I'm planning on going up there in a month or so, pending my schedule. Keep in touch, I can probably hook you up with a ride - so long as you don't mind riding with people from HCC's Role-Playing Club.

Bowl-Mani is a no-go with me though, sorry. (I have a job... lol)

Heck, to all Holyoke area players: Wanna go on a trip? If people will chip in, we'll make it a monthly day excursion. (But you will have to find your own rides back home from Holyoke. Sorry. )

Blah....

PM me if interested, we'll iron details out.

That's alright, my mom's willing to give me a ride on Saturday. It would be nice to be able to go Thurday and Friday, though, but Sunday's just not gonna work.

But yeah, I like the idea of a once-monthly trip to TGA.

Yeah, TGA is keeping both machines (DDRF and supernova).

Andy posted today on TGA's website about it.

If we could get a bunch of people, I'd definitely be willing to drive some of those kids who can't make it otherwise.

Spread it around. Raise some interest.

They don't make SuperNOVA upgrades yet, so of course it's a dedicab.

I know that.

But that machine makes me want to sell my posessions and obtain it for personal amusement.

The machine is absolutely sick, but the degree of how offbeat so many new songs are very disappointing.
