hey im definately going to be making a road trip out to TGA this summer. im in NJ about 6 hours away, so im probably goign to get a room up there somewhere, play all night at the arcade, wake up and do it again lol. are there any kind of other cool stuff to do in the area though? my gf wants to come with me she doesnt care where she just wants to go on a road trip. so if theres something else besides the arcade to do around there it would make it easier to say were driving 6 hours to an arcade

Well, I'll try to get to TGA next weekend so I can whore out the various machines before Bemanifest. Seriously, the only game they have there that I've played in the arcades is DDR. Unless I've played MvC2 somewhere but I think I've only played the original MvC in arcades.

Does anyone own that Eurobeat dvd with all the clips on youtube?

EvilDruid, there isn't much else up there besides TGA and places to eat. The town is right by the NH border, so if you know anyone around there you can probably make a weekend out of it. If you have to choose a day to go, you can get quality time with any of the machines as long as you dont go on Saturday. Saturday is still fun but if your going to TGA just to play the games you'll have to do some waiting (especially for iidx and ddr). It's still fun hanging out with more people though (like 95% of the regulars at TGA are pretty cool people / not lame), and you don't have to do the flat rate if you don't want to.

Like...if you want the full TGA experience or whatever and hang out / play bemani with alot of people then Saturday is the day to go. if your going just to play FEVER / DistorteD / Taiko 8 / DDRF then don't go on Saturday.

Either way its worth the trip if you've never been. / / / / /
