Andy has connections with people and places that would blow your mind. Unfortnuately (for me), he will only use them for good.

Looking to get up to TGA on the 3rd to actually get a chance to play Distorted/Supernova before the masses hit for Be^Howlmanifest. Frankly, the event scares me -- TGA was already jammed for the opening, and that was just locals. Do I need to RSVP my daily game of IIDX and Pop'n during the event?

If you're talking about the one with the music video for Night of Fire and the live clip of Dave Rodgers & Nuage singing Car of Your Dreams at the Osaka Automesse, then yes - I have that DVD.

It came with the first printing of Super Eurobeat Volume 150.

I got to play everything except IIDX and pop'n, which I could have played if I had waited in line for (but I haven't ever tried those yet, so I didnt want to waste the skilled players times).

If you ever go again, play IIDX. It's fun, even if you do suck at it. I suck, and I make a habit of playing at LEAST once everytime I go. No one ever makes fun of me, so it's all good. Play Xepher!!!!!!

Most of the people who play IIDX are friendly to normal players. Afew locals played the game and are hooked. They got it down 2nd try when I watched.

There was a short period of time when there was, like, 2 people in line for Pop'n. I waited for, like, 2 people, then someone went after me, then there was no one in line so I went again.

But yeah, I just decided to play IIDX the next time I go, when there isn't an hour wait for it.

So this will be an annual thing?

I mean, I hope you do plenty of other events during the year, but this event sounded/looked like it was teh shiznit.

(Gotta improve my skills so I don't embarass myself anyways >_<)
